I am a father to two girls and work for National Express as a Part Qualified Financial Accountant. I have a first class degree in Mathematics and got a grade A in Mathematics and Further Mathematics in College.
After graduating I did a year of tutoring GCSE, A Level and Degree level Mathematics. I was a teaching assistant for half a year before I went into the world of finance. I do love to teach and help others learn and I have always had a love for Maths. I have helped my eldest with her KS2 Sats exams recently and just loved doing it.

I’m 31 years of age. I have a variety of interests including football, video games and Marvel comics and films. For the last 3 winters I took a break from teaching to spend time abroad working the winter ski seasons. Unfortunately I’m still not an expert skier and my snowboarding is rubbish, but I saw some beautiful sights!

Currently, I'm a second year student studying mathematics at the University of Leicester. Since the start of school ive always had a fascinating interest in mathematics. At GCSE level, I achieved grade 9 and at A level I achieved grade B.
My sessions will be influenced mostly by the needs of the student in question. If you need help understanding simultaneous equations, we can spend half an hour on that. If you need help on a specific question, I'll walk you through it. If you want extra practice with quadratics, I'll draw some questions for you. And if you have absolutely no idea where to start, we can either go through the syllabus bit by bit, go through past papers or pick a topic out of a hat. Parents are also welcome to make suggestions and requests as well.
