I am a first year Physics student at the University of Kent. I have always enjoyed teaching and academia, so much so that my dream in life is to become a theoretical physicist after graduation. As a result, one of my biggest passions in life is to contribute to young mind’s understanding of the universe through science and mathematics. I have outstanding organisation skills, which allow me to be flexible in my schedule, and use my time as effectively as possible. Moreover, I love meeting new people which would make an excellent teacher, as I am able to connect with people comfortably.
I am fluent in English and Persian, with conversational skills in Russian and Arabic. At school, I set up a maths club for ages 5 to 6 and have participated in many science and debating competition, which includes a first place at a science fair for building holograms. I have also enjoyed competing in UKMT and Kangaroo challenges, as well as taking Open University courses to further educate myself on various topics.

Do you want to learn Japanese from scratch? Do you want to improve your Japanese with fun?
Let me help you. I am a qualified teacher with extensive experience in teaching and comprehensive knowledge of Education. I have completed Two MA and PhD graduate studies in Japan and the UK. I have taught Japanese at a prestigious grammar school in Kent.
With a long-term teaching career, I know how to deliver an effective lesson to improve students’ performance.
In my lesson, you can speak Japanese as much as you want! Because practice is the key to successful learning and a shortcut to becoming a fluent speaker. Even if you have full knowledge, it could be practically pointless when you cannot use it in a real situation.
I deliver pacey, articulate, and intensive lessons with lots of fun elements. I can customise lessons depending on your goal, interest, and level so that the format will vary. In 2024, absolute beginners are very welcome, too!
Absolute beginner course has about 48 lessons /30 minutes (=24 lessons/ hour). I mainly use my handmade presentation slides created for standardised tests based on the grammar school's curriculum. You can gradually increase vocabularies and practise grammar in an organized way. When you complete this course, you will be able to speak, read, write, and listen to basic Japanese.
I am available before 5pm on weekdays, but this does not always apply to every student. So, please contact me to find out the detail.
Your first lesson is about 20 minutes, which is set for getting to know each other.
Lesson duration:
30 mins or 40 mins
It depends on you. The platform is Zoom.
For face-to-face lesson, I am available morinig and early afternoon.
If any questions, pleaes feel free to ontact me.
For my students' review and to know about me more

I have also conducted numerous online webinars/ webclasses and drop-in sessions for students across the country for A Level maths. I love to make maths engaging. I am a professional drummer and teacher. I'm very passionate about teaching and all things music! I have been teaching all ability levels from absolute beginner right through to professional players for over ten years, and have had students from 6 years old, to 66 years old! I've also performed drum clinics/seminars through the UK and internationally demonstrating my approach to technique and musicality on the drum kit. Each lesson is tailored to suit the individual needs and wants of the student. I pride myself on being able to adapt to different learning styles and quickly identifying particular strengths and weaknesses of the student and then put into place a plan to help them work through these in a fun and efficient way. I cover all techniques and styles in my lessons. The lessons are relaxed and fun with a real focus on music! As a player I have been lucky enough to perform at drum shows and festivals all over the world and have performed at drum shows alongside Simon Phillips, Tony Royster Jr, Steve Ferrone, Damien Schmidt, Larnel Lewis, Thomas Pridgen and many many more. In addition to this, I have held drum clinics in The Netherlands, Germany, Prague, Belgium, France, and the UK. As a professional drummer in the UK, I regularly record for artists from all over the world from my purpose built home-studio, have played in London West End shows and toured throughout the UK and internationally with live acts.

Impressed by televised demonstration by Christian Tissier, Christophe took the plunge and started training in Aikido in 2002. He has trained mainly with Jim Dempster (Gowaryu Aikido), where he found his direct and efficient approach to Aikido very appealing.
In 2007, Christophe was awarded Shodan (1st Dan) by the British Aikido Association. He got his Coach Level 1 qualification in 2009, allowing him to help teach at Gowaryu and Katsujinken Dojos. In June 2009, he founded the Genryukan Aikido dojo in Dover. He was then awarded Nidan (2nd Dan) in July 2012 by Shaun Hoddy and Greg Barton.
Christophe mainly follows the Tomiki system and syllabus. However, he is also keen to look at other styles of aikido and martial arts. With that in mind, Genryukan has been very lucky to welcome a number of highly skilled guest instructors such as Mick Pratt (4th Dan, Tomiki Aikido), Neil Saunders (6th Dan, Yoshinkan Aikido), Robert Mustard (Shihan, Yoshinkan Aikido) and Howard Popkin (Daito Ryu Aikijujutsu). Also, an introduction in kungfu and taichi, whilst too short to claim any proficiency, gave Christophe some insights into the differences and similarities of other fighting systems.
Christophe is keen to pass on the lessons he has learned over the years and is constantly working on how best improve his coaching. His main goal is to better motivate, encourage and help his student into their own journey in their martial art training.
Genryukan Aikido has had an excellent start with dedicated students. Christophe is looking forward to passing on his love of the art for many more years whilst developing his own Aikido.

All lessons are planned and delivered by a seasoned MFL Teacher who has worked in several schools (primary and secondary) in Buckinghamshire and Kent. The offer brings a wide range of private lessons (Year 7 to Year 13) in French and Spanish.
I am a native speaker of French (born and raised there) and an almost native speaker of Spanish (Mother and extended family). My teaching focuses on grammar and language manipulation and one of my strength is building very good relationship with his students very quickly.
Do not hesitate to ask if you have any questions.
