I am a professional teacher with over 15 years experience of teaching IT based subjects. I believe everyone has the right to succeed in their learning, and that with the right support and encouragement everyone can achieve their potential. During my teaching career I have taught in both primary and secondary schools, and many different subjects including Maths, Creative Media, Business Studies and Welsh Baccalaureate. However, my main passion/subjects are ICT/Computer Science and Digital Technology. I am qualified up to Degree level BA (Hons) IT Education with Qualified Teacher Status 2:1 and hold a HND in Computer Science. I'm currently a full time teacher in North Wales delivering WJEC GCSE & GCE courses with excellent student results. My tutoring sessions will start by assessing your skills and understanding your goals, We will then create a personalised learning plan that will address your areas for development. I use a range of teaching styles to ensure that you develop your skills, knowledge and understanding in order to meet your target grade. I believe that independent learning with guidance allows you to improve your performance and develop your skills. As a teacher I understand that everyone learns differently and it is important to find the right model for you; whether that be visual, written or kinaesthetic. I ensure that a variety of practical activities are available in your preferred style to embed confidence into your learning. I am an innovative thinker & always look at the different ways in which tasks can be approached, as it is always important to look at the different ways a task can be done & see which ways suit the person undertaking the task, whether that be myself or a student I am teaching. I strongly believe that every student deserves the same opportunity to succeed in the future which is my main goal behind the 1-to-1 tutoring that I have to offer.

My specialism is in the subject of English, with tutoring available for primary school age students following the UK National Curriculum, as well as sessions available in Functional Skills English, maths and ICT, and GCSE English language.
