I am a graduate who has finished studying Maths with Statistics at Royal Holloway University and I have good maths and science teaching skills. I know what techniques are needed for students to thrive and to have a good learning environment. Along with that, I know what techniques are needed to answer exam questions, so that they can do really well, and for them to find their true potential, but most importantly, for students to have a positive and enthusiastic approach to learning. In terms of teaching, I can teach maths, biology and chemistry at KS3, GCSE and A levels. I teach physics at GCSE and at KS3 level. I have 4 years experience as a private tutor and I teach students in the best possible standards as possible as I am very patient and I understand students difficulties and needs and therefore allow them to succeed. I have had 4 years experience in teaching GCSE and A level subjects, which are maths, chemistry, biology and physics. I have also taught geography in the past. I have taught students in person for the past 4 years. For in person teaching, I have taught in libraries and at schools. The first lesson will be a trial lesson, just to introduce myself and also give an indication of where you are working at for your subjects, so that I can plan the lessons according to your needs further forward. At additional request, I will be able to teach Statistics and Further Maths.
For online teaching, I have taught students using Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meets.
Additionally, I have 4 years of experience in teaching students with SEN, as I have taught these students online and in person. I have taught students with ADHD, autism, anxiety, dyslexia and emotional difficulties.

My lessons are interactive and student centred, catering to different learning styles and students of all levels. Each lesson is crafted to encourage active participation and to emphasise the importance of problem solving skills, analysing information and critical thinking skills. I have been teaching for 5 years and quickly became head of department in a secondary school in Surrey. I have been teaching the AQA syllabus to years 10 and 11 and have also designed a whole curriculum for years 7 through to 11. Therefore I have a variety of resources and wide range of specialist topics including humanand physical geography. Prior to becoming a teacher I worked as an ecologist, field biologist in Mauritius and worked for a number of conservation organisations such as the RSPB. I can therefore make cross curricular links with biology and citizenship.

I have a distinct love for geogrpahy, particularly physical, and loved the course at both GCSE and ALEVEL. I am a confident teacher, having tutored English and maths whilst volunteering with Syrian refugees taking their SATS in the UK last year.
