I have been tutoring for over 10 years and concentrate mainly on GCSE. I teach many adults from scratch or picking up where they left at school. I teach as I learned, not as a native speaker, but as a language lover who enjoyed languages at school and at university and aim to support my students by helping them with grammar and vocabulary so that they can make good progress.
When my own children were doing their GCSE's, helping them lead me to discover how much I loved teaching. All my lessons are very much tailor-made to suit the needs of each person and if teaching on-line I email notes after each lesson. I always go the extra mile for my students particularly in the run up to important exams and assessments.

Bonjour, I have been a french tutor for 23 years in London and worked for language agencies and www.*** was also a licensee of the "Le club Francais" so I am experienced with primary school level too. I teach all and all ages from beginners to advance level. I teach and train students for their GCSE and A levels I developed an easy way to learn french grammar via memo technics as it's the harder part of learning french. Most of my students are surprised to be able to converse in present past and future tense within 3 months As a native of France I can teach you French to advanced level focusing on the following. All my lesson is taught in very communicative way as I truly believe is the only way to be fluent.
My different experiences (professional and personal) have given me a lot of ideas to create and develop lessons adapted to different learners, levels and in a friendly environment. For me, a teacher have to be willing to listen to his student. He have to be patient and his lessons have to be lively. A teacher is a professional with a lot of education and good manners and like to share his knowledge with pedagogy and interaction. I used to divide lessons into two parts : - First part : pronunciation, communication skills, French grammar - Second part : discussion about cultural course about France and the French society or based on articles, world's events. The student can use his knowledge in an unformal situation. This is of course not set and stone and I can manage lessons according to student's needs and expectations. I am currently on a gap year and will be starting my first year at medical school next year, so I have a lot of free time that I'd like to use to help students that are in the position I was in less than a year ago.
I aim to provide interactive session that guide the students to apply themselves in their subjects. I have a true passion for these subjects and I am very eager to teach others and share my knowledge. Students are also free to come with their own requests and specific questions and I will be happy to go through getting to an answer with them.
I also aim to share resources and provide tips for revising that helped me achieve 3 A* at alevel and top grades at GCSE. (Only able to tutor for AQA exams).
I have had practice tutoring other young people as a year 13, as I tutored other students in the lower year, and they saw great improvement in their exam results. In one example I had a student go from getting Ds to achieving an A* is a topic test.
