I`m a French bi-lingual (French native) opera singer currently based in Brighton. I teach French and English privately (my youngest students are 3, and the eldest 50+ !) and I`m happy to teach online or in person (max 10 mile radius from Brighton).

TEACHING QUALITIES
I chose to start a teaching career as I wanted a new challenge in life as I had been working in an office environment for many years. I took the CELTA course in Brighton, England with a view to teaching abroad and was greatly encouraged by the feedback from the instructor and fellow students during the course. In the classroom I am very patient and genuinely want to see my students improve. I can adapt to students of different ages and personalities and realise that a sense of humour in the classroom goes a long way.

INTERESTS

I am an 20-year-old student, currently completing my Bachelors in Neuroscince at the University of Sussex and looking to expand my experience in tutoring. Hello! I have worked in primary and secondary schools since 2019 and gained my teaching degree last year. I am young, knowledgeable and have extensive experience of working with students from KS1 to GCSE.
I am a sympathetic, fun, understanding individual with a vast amount of experience working with children of all primary ages from Reception to year 6 of all abilities.
I believe making learning fun is the key, whilst chunking it into small pieces to make it less overwhelming giving a child the confidence they need to believe in themselves and their abilities. I teach daily Read Write Inc phonics lessons and regular maths lessons.
