I favour online classes but I can totally come to you if you're in my area (Chelmsford) or we can even organise classes outside, in a cafe or in a park when the weather is nice if that's something you'd like.
What I can offer :
- French lessons
I offer french lessons from beginner level to experienced, no matter the age and expectations (whether it’s for school/exams or just if you want to learn a new language for fun). I can also offer my help with homework or any type of translation.
The first session is free because I believe it's important to first take some time to talk about your needs and expectations, evaluate your level and what I can bring you. And also just for you to decide wether you think I'm the right tutor for you.
Once we've set an objective, we can start building the perfect lesson for you. I like working with books, songs, movies and anything that can make the lesson more interactive. Doing a little bit of translation and conversing in french if your level allows it or just focusing on the basics while going at your own pace. I can also give homework in between lessons if we've agreed to. The whole point is for you to feel confident, ask as many questions as you need and progress.

I also offer english lessons and homework help mostly for kids, beginners and foreigners no matter the age and and expectations.

I have great experience teaching within the class setting and tutoring, both online and face to face, teaching a whole class, small groups and 1:1. I started my teaching career working as a reception class teacher, teaching 4 year olds, a role with a huge amount of responsibility, providing a nurturing, caring environment whilst also providing a love of learning. Since then I have taught in years 1 to 4, teaching maths, English, science, history, geography, art and personal, social and health care. Due to the covid pandemic and school closures I taught for several months online, teaching the class as a whole, in small groups and some one to one sessions also. Following on from successful tutoring of one family they offered me the position of nanny/tutor and for the past 2 years I have been a nanny for a family of 5 children, teaching the eldest 4 on a daily basis. Due to a chenge in my own family circumstances I am no longer able to offer the overnight and weekend hours that they desire so am seeking a new challenge of online tutoring. I am professional, reliable and passionate about teaching. Tutoring enables lessons to be not only specific to an individual child's needs but also specific to their interests, making learning more interesting and creating an enthusiasm and pride for the child, taking ownership of their achievements. This means that I am able to complete assessments which will indicate whether your child needs extra time, a reader, a scribe or any other reasonable adjustment. Student pursuing a career in languages. I have had multiple previous students and currently tutor several students in French. I am happy to help all abilities up to A-level. French is my strongest language although I have spent more time in Spain. I am on track for a first class BA in French with Spanish which I began in 2022. The years between leaving school and beginning resuming my studies were spent racing my bicycle in and around Europe. I love travelling, I love racing bikes and I love literature. I always prepare unique and tailored lessons for each student. I only hope to see students enjoy the subjects I teach as much as I enjoy learning and sharing my knowledge about them.
