I am an experienced Secondary School Humanities teacher and Head of Department with a passion for Religious Studies. I really enjoy increasing pupil motivation for my subjects and creating inspiring and engaging lessons. I am very experienced in supporting pupils to improve their knowledge, and build confidence in their exam skills. My lessons support students in developing their critical thinking and analytical skills.
I also have experience within teaching English as a Foreign Language from beginner to advanced levels to secondary age and adult learners. I really enjoy working with pupils from different backgrounds and learning about different cultures.
I’ve been a teacher for 20 years teaching primary age. I specialise in Early Literacy and Numeracy Skills and the Foundation Phase. I’m able to tutor up to age 11 £30 for initial assessment, £15 half an hour and £25 an hour.
As an experienced English and Drama teacher, I would like to stimulate children's creativity in their writing, while improving their Reading, Grammar, Spellings and Punctuation, through innovative lessons so that they will improve and get good grades.
