I have always enjoyed learning and analysing English Literature texts, being able to teach them to students is a passion of mine. Teaching students the core skills to tackle set and unseen texts is my main objective in making literature accessible for all.

In terms of tutoring experience, I have taught students on a one to one basis with a variety of SEN, SEMH and general needs, including those who are home-schooled and have thus never entered a classroom. With regards to exam preparation experience, I have knowledge of both the AQA and Edexcel specifications, having prepared Year 11 students for their GCSEs in English Language and English Literature. Currently, I am working as an English teacher at a Further Education college, where I teaching students who need to either re-take their GCSE English Language qualification, or study a Functional Skills course. 1. Cancellation Policy:
A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session without charge.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will incur the full session fee (£60).
2. Payment Policy:
Payment must be made via bank transfer to the details provided above.
Payment is required in advance of the session unless otherwise agreed.
3. Session Conduct:
Sessions will be conducted online using a mutually agreed platform ( www.*** , Zoom, Skype).
Both parties are expected to have a stable internet connection and necessary equipment.
4. Confidentiality
Any personal information shared during tutoring will remain confidential.
Recordings of sessions, if necessary, will only be made with prior consent from both parties.
5. Liability:
The tutor is not responsible for technical issues on the student’s end that prevent participation in the session.

I have a BA (Hons) degree in English Literature and a Certificate in Education qualification. I have also passed a TEFL course. When I taught Functional
Skills Englsih at the Isle of Wight college, students belonging to one of my classes were the first in the college to pass their examinations in that subject.
I have been teachin, online, for over three years and, in so doing, I have taught students from all over the world. I have helped some students to improve

With over 10 years experience of working within Key stage One, I am currently Year two teacher in a small village school.
