My biggest priority, more than anything, is inspiring my students to realise their own potential. In my lessons, you'll learn not only how to pass your exams, you'll also learn how to develop a positive mindset that will help you find success as you go out into the world.

I will provide you with resources and guidance to help you practise independently so that you can build on the progress you make in your lessons with me. I have a thorough knowledge of several exam syllabuses and can teach you the techniques you need to do well in exams, but I also want to help you set your own targets and have fun with your learning!

Formerly an Advanced Skills Teacher for Drama and Performing Arts, I was appointed as a Senior Lead Practitioner for Creativity in 2019. My first degree was in English Literature at Southampton. This was followed by a PGCE in Drama and English from the Institute of Education, and another PGCE in Directing Text with Young People, before moving on to my Masters in Education (Drama) working with the University of Middlesex and Trestle Theatre.
My teaching, leadership and whole school responsibilities have included: English Language and Literature; Drama and Theatre Studies; Media and Film Studies; Cross-Curricular Literacy; Raising Boys’ Achievement; Creative and Cultural entitlement. I have worked in a variety of contexts throughout London and Hertfordshire.
