Currently working as a full time English teacher at a private school. My job isn't limited to teaching. My biggest priority, more than anything, is inspiring my students to realise their own potential. In my lessons, you'll learn not only how to pass your exams, you'll also learn how to develop a positive mindset that will help you find success as you go out into the world.

I'm fluent in Spanish, ( my native language) French, and English and have spent many years teaching and studying languages. I completed a bachelor's degree in Spanish and English at Manchester/ALmeria University (2008) and studied Spanish and English Literature in school (GCSE and A-Level) so I know how daunting grammar can sometimes feel and how stressful language/literature exams can be... but also how great it feels when you finally start getting it!
On the language side of things, I can help you with your writing, listening, speaking, grammar, and exam technique. I can help you with conversational skills if you're just looking to go traveling or make Spanish/French friends.
On the literature side of things, a large part of my degree was literature-based, so I would be very happy to help any Literature students if you are struggling with the subject.
If you're in school and really want to get an A/A* (7/8/9), I can make sure you achieve your goal. Whatever your current grade, an A/ A*/7/8/9 is achievable. I have taught these exams for many years so I know how they work and how you can do well in them. We will work closely with the syllabus and go through some secrets of exam technique to make sure you get a top grade.
Alternatively, if you're wanting to learn languages for travel or business purposes (or just for fun!) we can tailor the lessons 100% to suit your needs. I also teach courses to adults from beginners to advanced and I always tailored to each student's need. I also teach English to foreigners to achieve the Cambridge Examinations ( A1 to C1).
I effectively deliver and plan online outstanding lessons and the feedback that I have received from parents, pupils, and adult learners have always been very stimulating. I strongly believe in the student centered-approach as always shown in my lesson plans. I believe that all students are individuals with very specific needs so differentiation has always been at the forefront of my teaching practice. I find it very important to address any students’ needs in order to get the best potential out of every single student. I am successful in establishing high expectations of behavior in the classroom whilst still developing positive relationships with my classes.
I love online teaching as well as face to face. I have been doing online experience for the last 5 years and I have helped most of my students to achieve an excellent language level. I use Google Meets, Google Classroom, or even Skype for online teaching. I generally send and post great, fun, and genuine resources so that the student can access them easily and successfully. There are so many fun online resources that I could provide you to enhance your language skills, especially in Speaking; what a great way to speak the language with a native speaker! You will also gain a broad cultural awareness and your fluency and pronunciation will speed up!

On the other hand, I am a 200hr yoga certified instructor for the last 2 years and I can give you online 1-1 lessons from beginners to more advanced practitioners. I can also give the online yoga class via zoom to you and your whole family! If you have children, you will be glad to know that I have trained to teach kids yoga and I have been organizing yoga workshops in primary and secondary schools.

I have taught as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Bedfordshire in English literature, recently completing a PhD. I am able to tutor in A-Level and degree level English literature with confidence and flexibility.
Fully qualified English Teacher, I have worked in secondary schools since 2005 including Pupil Referral Units. I am also a qualified SENDCo. I still teach in a school part-time and tutor alongside this. I run evening GCSE workshops for a maximum of five students at a cheaper rate of £15 per hour (£30 in total for the two hour session). I am an Assistant Headteacher currently teaching year six and leading Maths.
Formerly an Advanced Skills Teacher for Drama and Performing Arts, I was appointed as a Senior Lead Practitioner for Creativity in 2019. My first degree was in English Literature at Southampton. This was followed by a PGCE in Drama and English from the Institute of Education, and another PGCE in Directing Text with Young People, before moving on to my Masters in Education (Drama) working with the University of Middlesex and Trestle Theatre.
My teaching, leadership and whole school responsibilities have included: English Language and Literature; Drama and Theatre Studies; Media and Film Studies; Cross-Curricular Literacy; Raising Boys’ Achievement; Creative and Cultural entitlement. I have worked in a variety of contexts throughout London and Hertfordshire. Most recently, I led a 2-year journey of Creative Teaching and Learning across a two-site secondary school, working towards Artsmark accreditation in April 2021.
During lockdown, I embraced the challenges of remote learning and enjoyed the opportunity to experiment with different modes of delivery and interaction. I am passionate about teaching and education, and have recently achieved a Masters with Distinction in Teaching and Learning from University of Herts, as well as completing a Primary Education degree in 2013. I lead Primary English and am in my eighth year of teaching, currently with Year 5/6.
I have been teaching for 8 years and am currently teaching full-time in a mixed Year 5/6 class for a fourth year, I have also taught in Year 3 and 4. I have a 2:1 in Primary Education from Winchester University as well as an MA Distinction in Teaching and Learning from the University of Hertfordshire.
I have a very good knowledge of the primary curriculum and expectations for each Key Stage. Being the English lead at school means I also have a good knowledge of teaching phonics and reading/writing across the age groups, however I am also extremely confident in teaching Maths. I can be flexible in teaching either primary aged children or those in their beginning years of secondary school.
Due to my experience, I am confident in teaching and supporting children with a range of abilities and needs, as well as across a range of topics. Building a positive relationship with your child is key to me helping them develop a mindset and attitude to their learning which helps them make progress and feel confident.
