Associate Lecturer and PhD Candidate, currently tutoring online, with plenty of experience working with young students. I am also currently teaching a course in World Literature to first-year University students. As well as helping to prepare students for GSCE or A level examinations, I am able to provide support and guidance with general essay or academic writing, as well as lessons in Maths and English (including comprehension and SPAG) for primary school children. I am a friendly and confident individual, with up-to-date and in-depth knowledge of the subject.
I've previously only tutored students in person so I'm excited to try out online tutoring classes! Here's a little bit more about me:
- I studied English Language, English Literature, Media Studies and Psychology at A-Level
- I enjoy reading (obviously) and watching thriller movies
- My academic interest is accent variations and how accents/dialects are represented in online news sources
Online tutoring should give me more freedom with my availability to fit around your busy lives! However, I'm more than happy to discuss in-person sessions in Lancaster on the following days:
Tuesday, Thursday, weekends* *please be aware that as a student, I will only be able to offer in-person sessions during University term-time unless cost-of-travel payments can be arranged.

I am an experienced English teacher who has just graduated from the University of Cumbria in June 2020. This means that I have the knowledge of the up and coming learning theories that could help your child to exceed their potential.
During my placement the country went into lockdown so I did the majority of my teaching online. This allowed me to become engaging and encouraging over online lessons and helped me to see the benefits of learning and teaching online.
It is because of this that I have decided to use my knowledge to help those who feel that they have been left behind at school because of the pandemic, or those who simply want to improve their English skills.
I pride myself on being able to work with children who find school challenging and I have the ability to engage these children with English and help them to understand the more complex themes that this subject can present. I have a lot of experience with students with SEND and I am able to tailor my lessons to each child.
Becuase of the personal nature of my lessons, I am hoping to help engage all students who are feeling left behind because of the lack of school and help them to engage with the English Langauge and help them to be fully prepared for next year.
I also have experience of working with G&T children, within the classroom and online, and pride myself on being able to push those children to gain their potential. I am particualry keen to ensure that these children still go on to gain the grades that they were expecting even with the lack of school.
My lessons will all take place online which means that there is no commuting time for anyone allowing for more lessons at a cheaper price. This also means that students who are shy or do not feel comfortable are able to work from the comfort of their own home and without the fear of meeting new people as they will be behind the safety net of the computer screen.

With a strong educational background, including a BA in History from University College London and an LLM in Public International Law from Leiden University, I bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to my teaching.

Currently a Primary English Education with QTS student studying at Edge Hill University and studying a minor specialism of RE. I hold ABRSM Grade 8 piano, ABRSM Grade 5 music theory and an A-level in music along with A-levels in English Language and History. I have worked as a volunteer teaching assistant for the past 4 years in an array of local primary schools, high schools and nurseries. During this time I have worked closely with students in 1:1 support across all national curriculum subjects, particularly English and maths. I aim to provide a positive, happy working environment in which students enjoy learning to build confidence and motivation.

I have worked in education now since 2010, qualifying as a teacher in 2011.
I have an undergraduate degree in music and religious studies and a PGCE in Secondary Music with QTS.
Having worked in education in various sectors for the past 14 years, I have had the privilege of guiding thousand students through their exams.
I have taught Music, History and Religious Studies to A Level as well as Maths and English to GCSE level. My private students have enjoyed a 100% exam pass rate with the majority achieving a grade 6 or above.
Following the pandemic, I took the decision to move in to Special Educational Needs and have been awarded a diploma in SEND. My work now primarily focuses on motivating students with Special Educational Needs to achieve their maximum potential in English and Maths. I have worked in a Special Needs College and have also worked for an alternative education provider.
Over my career, I have taught students with a variety of special needs including, but not exclusively, ASD, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, and Down Syndrome.
I enjoy making use of technology and assisted technology in sessions and am keen to promote a love of learning in all the students that I teach.
In my spare time, I play the piano and the organ. I am additionally a singing teacher registered with AOTOS. I also enjoy spending time in the gym and hill walking.

I am currently in year 13 at the Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form. I am studying A level Biology, English Literature, and Fashion and Design. My predicted grades are A*s in all three subjetcs. I am looking to help out with students of all ages and understandings. I help out at my school with literacy support to children struggeling with learning dissabilities such as dyslexia and dyspraxia.
I have extensive exam experience and developed revision strategies to help students feel confident going into tests and exams. I am orgnanised, reliable, and enjoy working with children and teenagers. I love learning and would like to share my knowledge to support other students. I will help with homework, revision, filling gaps in understanding and solidifying knowledge.
I have very recent GCSE experience and therefore have an in-depth knowledge of the AQA curriculum. I grew up in Germany and am bilingual, having moved to England at the start of my secondary school education. I can offer speaking, reading, writing, and listening practice and support for students studying German at GCSE level. I can also provide German conversation practice to A Level students.
