I'm a French bi-lingual (French native) opera singer currently based in Brighton. I teach French privately (my youngest students are 3, and the eldest 50+ !) - I'm happy to come to your home, or teach from mine. At the moment due to Covid, most of my lessons are taking place via Skype / Teams / Zoom.
If you are working through curriculum requirements (AQA & Edexcel and also Degree topics) in order to pass an examination, or should you wish to brush up on your basic French skills in order to speak French like a native on an upcoming holiday - I can help!
Flexible. Daytime or evening, please contact me regarding availability.

Our school serves a wide rural catchment area in an environment of outstanding natural beauty, lying within the South Downs National Park. Our outstanding pre-school, `Little Oaks', serves children from two to four years whilst the Primary School serves the older children from four to eleven. We are also an extended school, offering parents the opportunity to drop their children for breakfast at Elm Club at 7:45am and stay to After School Elm Club until 5:30pm. Ofsted rated us a Good School in September 2016 and we are proud of the work we continue to do in striving for excellence. Our biggest achievement in the last year has been to create an outstanding outdoor learning space for our youngest children in Early Years and Key Stage 1.

We have been teaching English to students from other countries for fifty years. Over this time, we have welcomed well over 250,000 students to the UK on various courses and are well-known throughout the world.
We arrange international courses, programmes for single nationality groups and English Home Lessons where individual students live and learn in the home of a host teacher.
All courses, with the exception of online learning programmes, are accredited by the British Council. We are a member of the national association of accredited English language schools and language course organisations, English UK, and also, within this framework, of the specialist group, Young Learners English UK.
In a rapidly changing world, our dedication to each one of our students remains unchanged.

In the classroom I am very patient and genuinely want to see my students improve. My online sessions are engaging, lively and purposeful. I aim to make students feel at ease; I am an experienced classroom teacher of both girls and boys and a parent of a 9 year old so know how to make learning as 'pain-free' as possible. I have experience with students of all abilities and can adapt my delivery and resources to suit your needs.
An experienced GCSE examiner, I know exactly how to tackle each question for the English Lang and Lit examinations. I have successfully prepared A-Level students to sit (and achieve an interview in) the Oxbridge ELAT test and my A-Level Literature, Language and Literature students have all achieved their target grades or higher. I am currently working in a school therefore, my availability is online only, after school and weekends. I am very happy to negotiate a timetable, or paired tutoring sessions so students can work on their English with a www.*** ;
I usually use GoogleMeet but am happy to use www.*** ;
I'm very happy to meet for a quick chat where we can discuss your individual learning needs and so you can get a feel for the sort of teacher-tutor I am. I also offer a first 20 minute 'taster' lesson free. Please email me directly annielouisebrown at gmail dot com

Over my seven years of teaching at a comprehensive school in Crawley I have taught four English GCSE exam specifications, as well as A-Level English Literature, AS-Level English Language, PDC and KS3 German. I am responsible for overseeing the planning, delivery and assessment of the KS3 curriculum.
During these unprecedented times I would like to reach out to as many students as possible, particularly those whose parents are struggling to juggle the pressures of lockdown home life and education, so am currently offering my services as an online tutor.
