The centre has been established since 1995. Students of all ages and abilities attend the centre for an average of three years – the longest standing student has attended the centre for seven years. Several previous students also now help out as assistants in the dynamic, thriving centre.
The Harlequin Rugby Club is located next to Cherwell School. The centre occupies the whole building which is on the ground level.
Students from all the local schools attend the centre and usually attend for about 30 minutes. The unique Kumon Maths and English Programmes pursue the potential of each child by developing confident, independent learners through individualised, advanced study.
Unlike the process of a traditional tuition provider, Kumon encourages students to take their learning into their own hands. The role of the Kumon Instructor is to provide guidance, support and encouragement, allowing the student to develop their own independent learning strategies.
I am a highly educated and experienced tutor with knowledge and expertise that reaches far beyond my subjects which means that I provide my students with comprehensive courses and take them on an exciting life-long journey of language and culture learning. At the same time I passionately believe in achieving one's full potential that is why I have got impeccable track record in terms of exam grades my students achieve.
