I`m a French bi-lingual (French native) opera singer currently based in Brighton. I teach French and English privately (my youngest students are 3, and the eldest 50+ !) and I`m happy to teach online or in person (max 10 mile radius from Brighton).

I have been teaching English for 5 years and have worked in 2 secondary schools in Sussex.
I teach ks3 and ks4 English and have experience in delivering the current GCSE.
I also have experience tutoring individuals so can tailor sessions to suit your child’s needs. I am very friendly and approachable - I will do my best to ensure that the sessions are beneficial and will work with you by communicating regularly to discuss the content and intentions of the sessions.

Hello! I have worked in primary and secondary schools since 2019 and gained my teaching degree last year. I am young, knowledgeable and have extensive experience of working with students from KS1 to GCSE.
Through my private tutoring I have built up communication with parents and worked together to identify areas for development. Day to day life as a teacher means I have a wealth of experience and resources to be able to cater for many different needs. I have worked with a whole range of ability groups, including gifted and talented writers, and autistic children needing more support.
I am an 20-year-old student, currently completing my Bachelors in Neuroscince at the University of Sussex and looking to expand my experience in tutoring. I have tutored before and have good experience in working with children from ages 5-13. My former students have expressed an improved level of knowledge and seen better results in school. TEACHING QUALITIES
I chose to start a teaching career as I wanted a new challenge in life as I had been working in an office environment for many years. I took the CELTA course in Brighton, England with a view to teaching abroad and was greatly encouraged by the feedback from the instructor and fellow students during the course. In the classroom I am very patient and genuinely want to see my students improve. I can adapt to students of different ages and personalities and realise that a sense of humour in the classroom goes a long way.

INTERESTS
I enjoy travelling and meeting people from different cultures. I like to seehow other people live! I like to exercise by walking and cycling and enjoy watching sports. I love great movies and interesting books. I have a keen interest in computers and technology and love to cook Italian food.
Since my both of my daughters were diagnosed with dyslexia, I became aware of the challenges they faced every day in the classroom. This in its self spurred me on to become the year 6 teacher I am today. One who will never give up trying to find new and exciting ways to help children learn. Mainly, my forte it's SATs prep, which I've been doing for 7 years helping children not only pass their exams, but instilling confidence within to flourish for the rest of their educational careers. I also have a specialism in supporting the progress of children who have particular needs. Such experience I feel enables me to teach in a very diverse way, resulting in a bespoke tutoring approach that will inevitably enrich your child's educational career.
