Eurospeak Language School Reading School, Learning Centre
|
Eurospeak Reading was founded as a school of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) in October 1991 by Mr. Michael O’Brien. Originally starting with a few evening and Saturday classes for visitors and au-pairs working with families in the Reading area, within a year the demand for lessons grew to cover the mornings, afternoons and evenings every day. To meet this increased demand, we soon assembled a group of competent, friendly teachers and thus the ranks of loyal and successful students grew as we expanded and even began arranging activities and tours for them.
Over this time Eurospeak continued to build up its reputation by employing good teachers, having reasonable prices, having a friendly helpful atmosphere and organising activities of interest to the students. As the demand grew beyond lessons for immigrants residing in the UK, the college began to support students who needed student visas and in the space of just 4 years, Eurospeak became an international college that welcomed students from all over the world. This meant that a full-time schedule was developed so that students could be accommodated for the required 15 hours or more of tuition each week. In time, as student numbers grew, so did the need for more teachers. During this period, we also started entering our students for the Cambridge ESOL exams and by 1998 we had become a national exam centre recognised by Cambridge University. In the years that followed Eurospeak continued to flourish.

Beeston Fields Primary School School, Learning Centre
|
Beeston Fields Primary school was originally built in 1931 and began as two schools, an Infant and Junior. These amalgamated in April 2001 to form the new school of Beeston Fields Primary and Nursery School and in September 2015 we became an academy joining the Flying High Trust Partnership.
We have a purpose built Foundation Stage Unit where both F1 and F2 children play and learn. Main school has two classes per year group, each classroom is well resourced and include interactive whiteboards to engage the children in their learning. Our period building has many small areas to allow 1:2:1 and small group activities to take place away from the distractions of the main classroom; each Key Stage has a 'hub' with resources appropriate to their age ranges.
Our two halls provide us space for our assemblies, physical education, dining, clubs, performances and other community events. Our bright school library provides an attractive space for the children to foster a love of books and reading. We are pleased that with regular investment we are able to provide lots of engaging and interesting books.
We are also very fortunate with our outdoor space. We have a large astroturf pitch which allows for all year round use as well as a playground and trim trail with grassed area. The Foundation Stage has its own outdoor space allowing our younger children; a quieter place to play and learn. We are pleased to be part of the local community by running an allotment which gives our children opportunities to learn about growing plants and vegetables.

It is a great opportunity for students to get some meaningful one to one time with a teacher!
Parents and student frequently comment on how calm and relaxing our centre is. This is no accident, hours of forethought, days of design and years of experience have all gone into designing the right space. It is a perfect alternative to the wonderfully loud and busy environment of the modern school classroom.
We offer one to one tutoring for students that would like an individual boost to their knowledge and grades. This is a tried and tested way of seeing results fast. This is available in English, Maths and Science.
At the Classroom, we can assist with home schooling by working alongside parents to plan and teach an educational program that will best suit the needs of each individual child. We love meeting new (and old hands) when it comes to home schooling and feel incredibly privileged to be allowed to support them on their journey.
So if you would like to find out more about one to one tuition, see if we have a place in a small group session or to chat to us about our creative space then don't hesitate to get in touch!

Lloyd Williamson Schools School, Learning Centre
|
We guarantee small classes – no bigger than 16 children in the main school and nine per class in Reception. We believe that this is integral to children establishing strong relationships with their teacher, getting the support they need, developing a strong work ethic and both maximising and achieving their potential.
Classes are made up of children from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities, but the one thing they have in common is motivation. We do not compare children with one another; we challenge them against their own goals and next steps. This allows children to feel safe, be creative and be curious instead of managing anxiety about ‘not keeping up’. Happy, confident students are available to learn – they develop a rich and positive sense of who they are and can be.
Each class has a name:
Sprites (Reception) Pegasus (Year 1) Dragons (Year 2) Unicorns (Year 3) Griffins (Year 4) Minotaurs (Year 5) Centaurs (Year 6) Chalkers (Years 7-9)
