Hello there,
I'm Tania, born and raised in the heart of London.
I have over 6 years of teaching experience and I also live what I do. I am very passion about helping other to succeed, learning and developing as much as possible.
I have over 15 years of experience of teaching English as a second language teaching both groups & individuals.
I am a CELTA qualified TEFL instructor. I taught ESL in New York City for 8 years where I gained an ALECC (Adult Learners Education Core Curriculum) Certificate. I have taught, intermittentley, ever since returning to London 7 years ago. Until the pandemic, I worked for YES (Your English School), USA in the Summer months, teaching Italian high school students. I have also taught Callan Method English in London. I recently completed a Cambridge Assessments Teaching English Online course.
I am a teacher of long experience and can offer lessons in the following
1. Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and English as a Foreign Language (EFL) at all levels, from complete beginner to proficiency
2. Preparing students who are going to take IELTS (International English Language Testing System) for the four papers: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking

4. Preparing students at all levels of English: Primary and Secondary
5. Preparing students taking GCSE English Language and Literature.
I hold exceptional skills of presentation, organisation, time management, classroom management, making lesson plans, assessing learner progress as they are the pillars of high potential for a teacher/tutor/language trainer. I also have mastered the approach of inductive teaching which is stupendously helpful for language learners to grab the language content with minimal difficulties. The teaching experience of more than four years (of both in Sri Lanka and here in the UK) have helped my teaching career to enhance my potential and uplift my career with more duties, experiences, responsibilities and newer educational working systems. In my scope of teaching experience, I have witnessed dense formalities of equality and diversity where I have taught learners from different social and economic backgrounds when I was a teacher in Sri Lanka. Also, I have managed to effectively and efficiently establish a well-controlled and well –resourced classrooms with mixed-ability groups of learners. My teaching skills also excel in managing a quality classroom equipped with proper resources, good time management, wider audibility, effective and clear instructions and monitoring , facilitating a good classroom setting . In my teaching experience in the UK, I have had the privilege of tutoring learners hailing from different nationalities where cultural diversity was an inevitable factor to infuse in a lesson plan. Also, I have manifested employability as a vital topic to be explored in the delivery of each of my lessons. I have also participated in training programs for the inclusion of the themes like Prevention and Safeguarding, Health and Safety, Employability, Transport, Personal Development and British Values. I have successfully taken measures to thematise these topics in my lessons. Also, I have taken effective time to explore these themes to support the well-being of the learners whilst they are learning the language. My whole teaching career also embeds with quintessential training on classroom management, writing lesson plans, workshops on activity-based teaching and using the appropriate resources. I have strong skills in demonstrating, monitoring, presentation, preparing lesson plans, assessing learner progress, compiling class profiles and writing learner reviews. The academic qualifications that I have ascertained have sculpted the background for my teaching career with the related knowledge about both language and teaching the language. To add, I have also started the CELTA Course in order to gain the specific professional qualification to employ myself as an educator in further education. Finally, the training and experience counts my capacity and the stage for further learning novice and perpetual experiences in teaching.

My name is Cristianne and I am currently a Modern Foreign languages teacher in Hatcham College, a secondary school in South East London. I have ten years experience in London secondary schools and around 4 years in colleges, centres and schools abroad. Kate is a British teacher & author. She attended an all-girls grammar school & graduated with a BA in English Literature and Creative Writing from the University of Kent. She went on to receive a Post Graduate Diploma & a Masters in Education.

I am an experienced, qualified French and English teacher and tutor of 5+ years. I am educated to master's level and have expereince teaching and tutoring primary and secondary school pupils (ages 5 - 18). I also have experience teaching adults during evening classes.
I was born and raised in Switzerland with an Irish mother and am therfore a native speaker in French and English. I am passionate about languages, literature and helping students develop their full potential.
I tailor sessions to the individual student's interests and needs, and work with pupils to meet their desired goals.
