Have been into IT for in excess of 40 years and during that time, 20 years I ran my own computer repair business. I am an Oxford graduate (Worcester College), with a degree in Literae Humaniores - Latin and Greek language and literature, as well as ancient and modern philosophy (BA 2013, MA 2016) I am also a professional classical singer and conductor, active around the UK. I am a Lay Vicar at Chichester Cathedral, where I sing professionally with the cathedral choir. Friendly, approachable, and professional, I am passionate about teaching and helping people to develop their knowledge and skills.

I teach and tutor my academic subjects at a variety of levels, from pre-GCSE to undergraduate and master's level, and my students most often go on to receive A*s and 1st Class results in their examinations. My language teaching is based on the way in which classical languages are taught at Oxford, and I believe in the development both of analytical language skills and an instinct for the art of translation. For GCSE and A-Level, it is important for vocabulary and grammar to be secure, so I encourage a rigorous approach to language, but one that is interesting. I ask for a tutee to try their hardest - as long as they do, they will be met with an enthusiastic, patient, and understanding tutor, a tutor dedicated to his teaching and his pupil. It is vital to tailor sessions to the student, and I customise my lessons for each student I have based on their needs.
I am a self born natural thinkier and love to share knowledge and experience I get, I also love to be around kids and help them learn new skills and knowledge. I am an IT graduate with IT skills and my high school course was in science( Maths, Biology, chemistry, physica). Now, I am studying msc in Data Science in York Saint John University.
After teacher training I spent a year on supply working at various schools on short and long term placements in a variety of subjects. During one placement at a pupil referral unit I was offered a full time position and worked here for 1 year with students with behavioural difficulties and special needs. I then moved to Frederick Gough school in scunthorpe again to fill a position as a teacher of ICT I am now in my 9th year of teaching. After 2 years I secured a position as a head of year and have worked with all age groups from 7 to 11 in this time providing pastoral care and coordinating the learning over over 270 students. I Have just completed my NPQSL (National professional qualification for senior leaders) and hope to make the step to assistant head in the very near future. My relationship and rapport with all students is excellent and I am to help them achieve their best, whatever that may be.
