I am currently enrolled in Ph. D. – Computer Science at the University of Bradford. I believe I have the necessary skills, qualIties, and knowledge to perform effectively in this role.
I have already registered as a Tutor with Home-School Tutoring with Enhanced DBS with update service. I am currently working as a GCSE Maths tutor with the University of Bradford with enhanced DBS with update service. I have 4 years of teaching experience to the undergrads of the Jinnah University for Women in Karachi, Pakistan. I also have teaching experience as a Computer Studies teacher and a Maths tutor at Jabal Farasan International School in Rabigh, Saudi Arabia.
My teaching style and methodology encourage students to stick together with the course because I do not let my students get bored during the tutoring session. I always use the blended learning method to get my students to understand the concepts. I also remain in contact with parents to get them informed about the potential issues of their child and how to overcome those with mutual understanding. Due to the Covid’19 outbreak, I am offering online tuitions via Zoom/Microsoft Teams/Skype.

Having over 7 years of tutoring experience, I believe I would fit right into this role. I am a qualitified primary school teacher with QTS. I tutor from early years, to KS1, Ks2 and have started tutoring in 11+ for over a year in Maths and English I absolutely love seeing children excel in their education. Tutoring is an extremely rewarding job that allows me to be a part of building someone's foundation base in education and learning. This role will also give me a chance to gain more skills.
I absolutely love making the lesson fun and try my best to make it enjoyable. As a Tutor I prepare diverse and engaging activities and lesson plans to break down concepts increase student understanding and improve academic performance. I first assess the child in order to understand their strength and weaknesses. I then plan lessons according to what the child needs more help in. I organise and manage each lesson so I can have a record of what the child has done and what needs to be done. I am able to multi-task and meet students learning needs individually or in a group setting, as well as understand each child is unique and will have different learning abilities. I will be patience, have empathy and positive attitude towards each child. Going above and beyond for my student is what I feel is necessary so I know they are learning and are comfortbale to ask for extra help through email or text. I am ready to commit for a full academic year and even more.

I have worked in UK schools with recruitment agency as a teaching asssitant (supply stuff ) for almost a year. However, there has been a break due to my my maternity leave. I am fluent in English and urdu language and can efficiently communicate in both the languages easily. During the last few years of teaching i have used variety of methods to explain the topic to my students and I prefer to choose specific method of teaching for all my students because I believe every person has different way of understanding and requires special attention towards that specific way and to achieve that level of understanding I always try to get the right connection with my student by listening their problems their stories and they always feel very much comfortable with me to share what they are troubling with. I also prefer to use different online videos and presentations related to recent advancements in that specific topic. I often perform different activities with my students, specifically with university students, that can help them understand the nature of physiological and biological pathways. My usual method of teaching involves collecting information from different sources and compile them for my students and first explain each and every detail of that specific topic then I help my student to comprise their own notes from their understanding and I believe that to achieve exceptional grades you should always explain your answers in your own words rather than just rephrasing from textbooks or manuscripts. Recently some of my students graduated from the university and got their desired jobs straight away and few of them also got enrolled in postgraduate studies to continue their passion for medical sciences. I can proudly say that my efforts and hard work on my students gave fruit full results in developing their academic and professional careers as well as their confident personality.
