I am a music graduate from the University of Hong Kong. I currently have a total of 10 years of teaching experience including in the UK.
ABOUT ME:
Graduated from two degrees: BA (Hons) Jazz and Contemporary Music in Liceu Conservatory (Barcelona) + BA (Hons) Music Production & Performance in Solent University (UK). I've been working as a live musician, recording artist, session singer, songwriter, producer and studio coach for many signed recording artists including Fabbio (Universal Music). I have an extensive vocal training by renowned professionals both in the UK and Spain such as: Clarissa Land, David Phillips, Ian Davidson, Lee Loo, Helen Rowson, Miguel Manzo, and Yasmina Azlor. I've received intense training in the following renowned methods:

My lessons are planned according to your objectives and needs. You'll notice improvement every week and enough material for your own practise in my online platform. TECHNIQUE
You'll learn vocal technique in an understandable way that can be felt and controlled. I designed a technique course from my own experience after years of study, and teaching 100+ singers. The best knowledge from Estill Voice Training (EVT), Complete Vocal Technique (CVT) and Speech Level Singing (SLS) will be imparted.
You will realise that your whole body is involved in singing and you'll notice the drastic changes that make the proper understanding of larynx movements, breathing, posture, jaw, tongue, among others.
I will always make sure that you sing in a healthy way and never hurt your voice. No doubts will be left unresolved!
STYLE / ARTISTIC DEVELOPMENT
As you develop technique, we can work on defining your voice and musical style. We will improve the timbre and we will work on different stylistic resources and effects such as vibrato. We will identify and enhance the best of your voice, and we will work and develop new skills.
REPERTOIRE AND PERFORMANCE
We will tackle the songs you want to work on and you'll notice a big improvement as we work on them. You'll apply what we have learned and I'll identify problems that arise when singing your chosen music. If you want to record them professionally with quality sound, we will do it with my resources. (I am a professional producer).
ADDITIONAL SKILLS: SONGWRITING, PRODUCTION AND PIANO
Depending on your objectives, we can work on other musical aspects. Many students compose and want to learn more tools and tricks to compose more freely. Others want to accompany themselves on the piano better. I am also an active songwriter and composer, I learned from experts such as Paul Statham (Warner Chapell: Kylie Minogue, Dido). I am also a pianist. I can help you and give you the most practical tools to create music, sing it, and make work. Classes always have the option to add a dedicated piano extension, or songwriting and music theory, or production.
Hi all. I'm Beatrice, I'm from Italy and I come from a musical family. I was involved in singing since the age of 5 and started taking singing lessons at the age of 12. When I was 15, I started teaching kids from 12yo at my brother's music school in Italy. In 2015 I moved to London to continue my music career. Today I'm a qualified vocal coach. I've studied Pop, Rock, Jazz and Contemporary styles at BIMM London and graduated with a first. I works as a backing vocalist and session singer.
The teaching method I use in my lessons is part of the MVT training. It consists in creating a balance between your chest voice, head voice and your mixed, focusing on stretching the vocal folds and removing any body tension. Voice and artistic growth are very vast subjects. The conjunction of several techniques and methods help students unleash their full potential. First approach would be to identify and have a diagnosis in order to create a plan that will help reach your goal.
Lessons can take place in person at her house or online, if agreed. They can be 1 hour or 30 minutes long depending on the experience and level of the student.
I have 2 ways of assessing my students. One is a simple 5 tone scale exercise. Such exercise requires a bigger effort and therefore is very efficient for me to understand the level of the student. The exercise starts from the chest voice and continues past the bridge which is usually where the voice break could happen and continues towards the head/mixed voice. Bridges vary depending on whether it is a man of a woman. This is a good way of understanding students full range and if they struggle anywhere along the way up. After that, I ask you to sing a short song to see if your way of singing is the same as the previous exercise. I prefer to do the song too because most of the time, students execute both tasks very differently. After the assessment, we take a few minutes to discuss what I have heard and then we make a plan towards the final goal we want to achieve together. My second approach includes 2-3 minutes of warm up exercises mixed with technique exercises to help overcome the weaknesses in the voice. The rest of the lesson is spent singing a song we choose. I will also look at breathing technique, vocal effects (cry-twang-creak-growl) and agility which can be improved with a few exercises.

Musica Nova, the International Academy of Music, is a unique bilingual establishment in the UK that combines the best of British and Russian principles of teaching and offers music lessons and complex Certificate programmes for children (starting as early as 3. 5 years old) and adults (up to advanced professional level).
It has six categories of classes geared to maximise the potential of the student in musical styles and genres as diverse as classics, jazz, pop, dance, and drama. It was founded in 2001 and is based in the London Borough of Camden, within walking distance of King’s Cross St. Pancras tube station (zone 1). Thanks to the Academy, children, teenagers and adults from all ethnic backgrounds, including the Russian-speaking community in London, are being introduced to a beautiful world of music, enabling them to develop and improve their talent and to embark on professional music activity.
Musica Nova has established partnership links with artistic management agencies, record companies and cultural institutions. Since March 2011 the Musica Nova has held membership of the Incorporated Society of Musicians (ISM) one of the major umbrella organisations in the UK joining professional teachers and musicians. In 2012 the Musica Nova took part in the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Music Education held at the Palace of Westminster. Recent documentaries about the Academy have been broadcast by the BBC, major national and international Russian TV channels and the Russian Hour programme on the Digital Sky TV channel.
Teachers
All teachers are highly qualified professional musicians with a Conservatoire education, and with vast teaching experience with legal working status in the UK. All new teachers are carefully assessed and vetted in accordance with DFES regulations and employment legislation and with the Musica Nova’s own quality control procedures.
Lessons and Curriculum
Lessons take place in soundproof studios, equipped with pianos and elegantly designed to bring a sense of intimacy and discipline to the teaching. Both one-to-one and group sessions of up to eight students, are run at the Academy to fit in with students and parent’s busy lifestyles. If requested, lessons can also take place at client’s home (within the London area) and online.
The programmes are specially designed to lead and direct students from very first steps in music to Certificate (Grades 1 – 8) and Degree programmes (Performing and Teaching Diplomas) with participation in concerts, recording projects, performances at the international festivals and competitions. The ‘Music Wonderland’ is an innovative authoring programme offered to younger students. In close collaboration with child psychologists it assists in teaching music to children with dyslexia, speech and concentration problems.
In 2014 the Musica Nova introduced new educational programmes. Free concert events and workshops popularising good quality classical and contemporary music are open for children and adults in the Camden Russian communities in London.
Exams
Every year over 200 students are successfully assessed and receive Diplomas from major national examination boards. Students continue further music education in colleges and conservatoires in the UK (Royal Academy of Music, Royal Music College, Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, Cambridge and Oxford Universities) and Russia (State Conservatoire in Saint Petersburg, Gnessin Institution in Moscow).
Performances and Competitions
Students and teachers of the "Musica Nova" Academy have successfully performed in front of the members of the Royal Family, members of Parliament, politicians and celebrities.

I am an Oxford graduate (Worcester College), with a degree in Literae Humaniores - Latin and Greek language and literature, as well as ancient and modern philosophy (BA 2013, MA 2016) I am also a professional classical singer and conductor, active around the UK. I am a Lay Vicar at Chichester Cathedral, where I sing professionally with the cathedral choir. Friendly, approachable, and professional, I am passionate about teaching and helping people to develop their knowledge and skills.

I ask for a tutee to try their hardest - as long as they do, they will be met with an enthusiastic, patient, and understanding tutor, a tutor dedicated to his teaching and his pupil. My name is Faith and I'm a classically trained singer originally from Nottingham. Although I have a Bachelors degree in operatic singing I enjoy singing all styles. As a Musical theatre lover I've been honoured to sing professionally as a 'classical crossover' artist around the world - including cruises, major concert halls and arenas.

I am Marty, I am the Owner/Director and one of the tutors at Double M Studios.
I decided to launch DMS due to the passion I have for music and to make it a platform to be able to offer opportunities to students and adult learners that they may not be able to get anywhere else.
Music has been part of my life for a very long time. I was lucky enough to have two of the most amazing guitar tutors that anybody could have asked for. One of which became a very big inspiration for what I am doing now.

I have many private music students - which I have now adapted to teaching, where needed, via skype/zoom or using other (Exeter Music Holiday School), which has been running for 7 years. I am constantly learning a new instrument, and take It keeps me on track with how it feels to learn and coping wi nerves. Empathy and connections is very it is, to feel that your child is safe and happy with a mentor. This is why I encourge the take-up of a 'free' initial lesson, so that you feel happy any specialist qualifications in working with children and adults with additional needs, I do have lots of experience. I have many wondefullly, within these spectrums, whom have taught me so much. I am more than happy to re-invent the wheel and nurture what is important to each person. My eldest son is a child with autism, and he is an incredibly gifted musicican, who learns by ear and repitition (even though he can read music prefectly well) - as this is how feels his way though it, and this makes his very happy.
