I would like to share some of my accomplishments and experiences in chess that I believe make me a suitable candidate for a coaching role: National Tournament Success: During my chess journey, I achieved a significant milestone by securing 4th place in the national tournament for youth under 16. This experience not only honed my skills but also instilled in me a deep passion for the game. Open-Section Tournaments: I have consistently performed well in open-section tournaments, demonstrating my ability to adapt to various playing styles and challenges. University Competitions: At my home institution, the American University in Cairo, I actively participated in chess competitions and secured first place in several of them. These experiences enhanced my strategic thinking and leadership abilities. African Universities Chess Competition: As part of a chess team representing my university, I had the privilege of competing in the African Universities Chess Competition held in Kenya. This international exposure expanded my understanding of chess at a global level and allowed me to learn from diverse chess cultures. Given my experience and dedication to the game of chess, I am enthusiastic about the possibility of contributing to the Magnus Chess Academy as a coach for children. I graduated from the University of Surrey in July 2023 with a 2:1 degree in BSc Business Economics. For my first two years, I studies BSc Mathematics and Economics but for my final year, I decided to change my degree to Business Economics since I had more of a passion for Business. I studied Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Economics for my A-Levels and scored ABB respectfully. I scored a grade 9 in GCSE Mathematics (A*) , grade 7 (A) in GCSE English Literature and Language and an A* in GCSE Further Mathematics, scoring 4A*s , 6As and 1B. Mathematics has always been my favourite subject and I also very much enjoy teaching it to other people. I also have a musical background, particularly within playing the piano and keyboard. I am a Grade 8 pianist and I am very close to completion. I am looking to tutor piano or keyboard for people who want to play for pleasure and I am not looking to teach grades or prepare anyone for examinations. My specialty revolves around playing Bollywood and English piano covers.

With each move and calculated gambit, I etched a path of triumph, culminating in the crowning achievement of securing the illustrious 3rd place in the fiercely contested Lebanese under 18 tournament. This triumph, an ode to my unyielding determination, attested to the fruit of my laborious endeavors.
Furthermore, my dedication to the game manifested in a tangible accolade, as I clinched an official FIDE rating of 1733—an emblem of my prowess recognized on the international stage. This numerical testament to my strategic acumen and tactical finesse stood as a testament to my journey, an irrefutable testament to my evolution as a chess virtuoso.

As a Part-Time Chess Teacher Assistant at the esteemed International College of Beirut, I embarked on a new facet of my adventure—an endeavor marked by the sharing of knowledge and the cultivation of nascent talents.
