Having completed A level Physics Maths and Chemistry and being an avid musician, I have experience in tackling a variety of subjects within these fields.
My ethos with tutoring is to work alongside my students, understanding each of their unique needs and tailoring their lesson to be as productive as possible.
When studying for my own GCSEs, I witnessed many of my peers struggling to comprehend some of the abstract concepts being taught. Consequently, I began to lead a revision group for several of my subjects; sharing my own knowledge and methods with my peers. These sessions showed to me how fulfilling teaching students can be, knowing you've helped someone reach their full potential. As a result, I was able to achieve an A in several of my subjects, including Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Studying music formally and singing for 4 years has provided me with a wealth of experience in singing, performance, songwriting and the mechanics of the voice. I encourage my students to find their own style in a safe yet engaging manner whilst improving their formal technique.
I believe when introduced to a new concept the student needs to tackle a problem in a way that they understand. By providing my students with as many tools to face the problem at hand, I believe this is where I make an impact.
Let me help you achieve your full potential!

My method of teaching helps people to learn easily, I'm patient in teaching and have passion for teaching.
I like the students to go through the topic before the session, at the end of the session we go through some practice questions to test the understanding of the topic and also students can ask questions.
I also permits students to ask questions during the teaching for more clarification.
For mathematics I use different formulas in teaching to enable the children choose which formula is easy and I can advise to stick to some formula in exam purposes while also mastering others.
Before the start of a new session I ask questions on previous session to assess the students understanding of the previous session.
After every month I assess the students with test and make corrections at the end of the test.
I also go over the weak areas that the students had.
I have good knowledge of mathematics, Biology and Mathematics. I was able to score Grade B in this subject during my Senior secondary examination.

If you want someone that is straight talking and with pin-point accuracy to get the job done with fun and enthusiasm, I am your person of interest. Where I work, everyone wants to be taught by me, and the students that are taught by me are the envy of others who are not.
I can make Chemistry, which is arguably the hardest subject at A-level, accessible to all in a funa nd logical manner which not only builds subject knowledge, but boosts confidence in every aspect of theor lives. I give them a 'can-do-attitude' and all my students would be the first to admit it.
With the knowledge of state and independent sector, I am equipped to deliver the highest standard and I will not settle for an average grade. I have extremely high expectations and if you think you are up to the challenge and can cope, then I am your person, as long as you follow my ways of learning.
I have knowledge of various exam boards and unlike others, I have a substantial knowledge of all major exam boards including international as well as IB boards. It's my job to know the key differences between boards so let me guide you.
Please feel free to ask any questions and I will reply back ASAP.
Many thanks

I am an enthusiastic and dedicated tutor, currently finishing my Master's Degree in Computational Neuroscience, Cognition & AI at the University of Nottingham. My academic journey, anchored by a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience, has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the intricate connections between Neuroscience, Cognition, and Artificial Intelligence, shaping the trajectory of my educational pursuits.
Additionally, I have had the privilege of serving as a tutor to numerous students for over 6 years, facing the challenges inherent in subjects like GCSE Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Maths, as well as A-Level Chemistry & Biology. My tutoring philosophy is distinguished by a steadfast commitment to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. To this end, I leverage innovative tools, including online whiteboards and past papers, and complement these resources such as detailed step-by-step guides, often resulting in extremely positive outcomes with pupils sitting summer exams, be it A-Levels or GCSEs.
While the pursuit of academic excellence remains a focal point, my overarching goal transcends examinations. I am dedicated to instilling a profound understanding of the subjects, and empowering my students to not only excel in their studies but also apply their knowledge in a range of facets of life, including their future careers. I do this partially by drawing inspiration from my background in Neuroscience, as I always aim to integrate neuroscience-backed methods into my teaching practices. Such methodologies not only optimise information retention but also contribute to the ongoing development of cognitive skills, fostering a continuous process of intellectual growth.
Aside from academics, I am an avid reader, keen Badminton player and love to travel! I love to share experiences with students, as it creates a bond with them, and gives them space to be able to feel relaxed, and wanting to contribute themselves during lessons too. This to me, is pivotal in any learning process.
I firmly believe in the transformative power of education and aspire to be more than just a tutor; I aim to be a catalyst for academic achievement and the cultivation of skills that extend far beyond the confines of the classroom. Through a blend of passion, innovation, and personalised attention, I want to provide my students with a comprehensive educational experience, equipping them for success in academia and beyond.

I have a long and diverse history of teaching and tutoring, spanning various levels and subjects. I have cultivated a deep passion for education and student development. My journey began at the age of 19 when I started private tutoring GCSE subjects (math, physics, chemistry, biology). This continued into my undergraduate engineering studies, where I expanded my tutoring repertoire to include A-level subjects (math, physics, chemistry, English).
Upon graduating, I joined a government organisation in Bangladesh as an engineer. In this role, I was responsible for training programs in automotive and machine tools for engineering apprentices. My move to the UK in 2004 marked a new chapter, where I supported myself through my MSc studies by tutoring GCSE and A-level students in math, physics, and chemistry.
Throughout my professional career in the industry as an engineer, I designed and delivered training programs for apprentices and engineers, covering a broad spectrum of engineering subjects. These included engineering software (CAD, CAM, CAE), engineering math, quality control, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and ERP (enterprise resource planning) software. Concurrently, I continued private tutoring GCSE & A-level students (math, physics, chemistry) and undergraduate students (engineering math, engineering mechanics, fundamentals of mechanical engineering).
During my PhD studies (2016-2020) at the University of Nottingham, I served as a teaching assistant and demonstrator, teaching engineering design and CAD to undergraduates. Following this, my role at Heriot-Watt University (2021-2022) as a Research Associate in Robotics included tutoring and guest lecturing in undergraduate modules such as Introduction to Robotics and Digital Design & Programming.
Currently, I am working as an engineering lecturer. I teach a variety of electro-mechanical BEng modules, including engineering math, smart manufacturing, project management, engineering design, mechanical engineering systems, and renewable energy. Additionally, I supervise and coordinate final-year research projects.
Feedback from three key sources—students, colleagues, and management-led teaching observations—consistently highlights my effectiveness and dedication as a student-centred educator. I am committed to fostering student learning through not only high-quality teaching but also through unwavering support and mentorship. My goal is to inspire and equip students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in their academic and professional endeavours.
