I run a tutoring business catering for those students needing support with the following subjects:
GCSE - Maths, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Economics and English.
A level - Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Economics.
I also tutor music theory for those wishing to gain entry to university that require the ABRSM music theory qualification.

I have been a science teacher for the past 6/7 years in Staffordshire. Last year my classes achieved an average of two grades above their GCSE target grades. The school I am currently teaching at in Staffordshire is ranked 4th in the county in terms of progress 8.
I am a well qualified graduate achieving an upper second class degree in biology at the university of Liverpool. I have been tutoring both biology and chemistry for the past two years on tutorhunt. During this time, I have helped multiple students achieve excellent grades in science.

Hi everyone, my name is Maddie and I am in my first year of medical school at Aston University! I am passionate about passing on my knowledge about science as it is my passion. I studied Physics, Biology and Chemistry a-level AQA exam board. I am looking to tutor GCSE students in these three subjects. I acquired high grades in these subjects at GCSE as well as A-level. I am looking to tutor AQA GCSE specifically as this is the exam board I am familiar with. I can be flexible and do weekends as well as weekdays (all online). I did personal tutoring whilst I was in sixth form for GCSE students in these science subjects. I have tutored all the major exam boards and have always enjoyed an excellent degree of success. My approach to tutoring is very flexible and I can easily mould my approach to the needs of the student. My experience has shown that most students need help with interpretation of exam questions and a translation of knowledge into marks. To this end, I have a large database of questions to prompt discussion of the subject matter and requirements of the exam markers.
I studied chemistry back in the 90's and stayed on at university to do a PhD in medicinal chemistry and some post doctoral research into polymers. My industrial experience includes AVECIA in huddersfield and Astra Zeneca in Macclesfield. I entered teaching in 2004 and I have never looked back. I quickly took up oportunities of tutoring and have done this alongside my teaching ever since.

I find the best way to learn subjects such as science and maths are to practise them and put your skills into use. However, I understand that if the foundations for these subjects have not yet been built it can feel disheartening only doing practise questions. That is why before teaching u first assess the level that my student is currently at, identify weaker areas and then proceed to teach and test in an engaging and interactive way. Another one of my main principles is making sure my teaching is thorough, covering all course content is key to great grades.
I myself am a 2nd year medical student at the University of Manchester and am from Harrogate, I have always loved science but also have a passion for languages. I have tutored before back at home and through that found I have a love of teaching and sharing knowledge. I have also taught English and Spanish these past two summers in camps- I think knowing something is one skill but being able to convey and teach that information in a helpful way is another skill which through practice I believe I have attained.

I am currently a Medical student at Keele and a graduate from the University of Salford, achieving a 1st in my degree in Human Biology and Infectious Disease.
