Science Clinic Private Tutors was founded in 2010. Our vision was to help struggling children understand the concepts of the major subjects which are sought after by many colleges & universities. Our tutoring was mainly in the main subjects (Maths, all 3 Sciences & English Language) to exam students only. Because of the huge demand of tutoring in all year groups, we now teach students across the board from Primary (KS1 & KS2) through to GCSE, A-level and University. We were luck to have had colleagues we share the same vision with join us. Now we can teach all subjects from Primary through to GCSE, College /A-levels and Science & Maths at University level. All our teachers / tutors are graduates and qualified teachers with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) who understand the National Curriculum. Some of them are examiners at GCSE and A-level, which means they know the exam techniques students need to answer the exam questions properly and get better grades. I am an extremely successful Psychology teacher, and examiner, with 25 years experience. I teach any level. I have taught in very prestigious private schools and also in state education. I am the current Head of Psychology at an excellent school. My students, consistently, acheive within the top 5% in the country. Past students have achieved the top score in the UK at A Level. I am a Team Leader for A Level Psychology with the examination board. I can provide a bespoke service for students, working with them to acheive their goals.

I qualified as a teacher in 2004 and have extensive experience in a wide range of settings. I am qualified to teach Business, Economics and Law to A level, Computer Science and Geography to GCSE level. I have taught a number of exam board specifications in these subecjts, AQA, EdExcel (Pearson), OCR and BTEC Business and BTEC Applied Law.
I hold a postgraduate certificate in education (PGCE), a Bachelors degree in Business with Geography, a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science and, finally, a Master of Laws (LLM), at Distinction. I have completed professional development courses to enhance my skills in teaching children with additional needs, such as Advanced Autism Awareness, ADHD and Dyslexia. In addition, I have qualifications in teaching children for whom English is a second language.

Just under two years ago I decided to move into the education sector and use my knowledge and experience to help develop our next generation. I predominantly work delivering business, enterprise, and career challenges and workshops in schools across the United Kingdom, where I have worked with, in excess of 26,000 young people of all ages and a variety of different backgrounds. During my final years in my old career and the first year of my new career I also studied part time to gain an MBA (Master of Business Administration) degree through The Open University, graduating in 2022.
Outside of my main employment I provide life coaching and career mentoring, and I have also done a variety of charity and voluntary work which has given me an understanding of the non-profit making industries in business. In addition, I have experience and qualifications for working with individuals with special educational needs and disabilities, and I have dyslexia myself which motivates me to help those with similar needs.
