My name is Panos, a professional musician hailing from Greece and currently based in the UK. I earned my Jazz Guitar degree from the esteemed Philippos Nakas Conservatory in 2014, studying alongside some of the most renowned musicians in the country.
In 2018, I decided to broaden my horizons and moved to the UK to pursue my passion for music. I graduated with a BMus in Music Performance and Production from the University of West London (UWL), where I gained valuable experience and expertise.
Through my involvement with a variety of bands, such as "NOT ENOUGH," "OUTBRAVE," "B.L.E.N.D," and "DAN THEO PROJECT," I was able to refine my craft, develop my own unique style, and gain a wealth of performance experience.
With over a decade of experience teaching electric/acoustic guitar and bass to students of all ages, I have honed my skills as a patient and effective instructor. I am passionate about helping my students learn the essential principles of their instruments and develop a comprehensive understanding of music, all while having fun along the way.
Beyond my teaching work, I'm also keenly interested in music production and sound design. I've had the pleasure of collaborating on a diverse range of projects, including short films, video games, music albums, and theatre productions. These opportunities have allowed me to further develop my skills in audio engineering, mixing, and mastering, as well as to experiment with a variety of music genres and creative styles.
Let's work together to achieve your musical goals and develop your skills in a fun and engaging way. I look forward to meet you and embark on this musical journey together!!

One of the great joys of playing an instrument is to become able to capture the emotive force that the artistes you so admire can evoke.
Discover how they do it. What scales they use, how they create their sublime musical phrases, what their vibrato is like, what ornamentation they favour...
No doubt you want to get a foot in the door fast.
Learn some power chords and play along with your favourite records in the first lesson.
Don't feel abashed about lacking any previous experience. It's not neccessary. I've taken many adult total beginners up to public performance level.
Music theory, Rock, Pop, Acoustic Guitar and Bass Grades.
You don't have to do them but it's nice to be able to guage your progress and if you're hoping to do a GCSE in music or go to a music college being able to show your credentials can be essential to getting an audition.
My students have a 100% pass rate across 30 years.

I am not a qualified teacher however, I do play guitar myself and have been for over 5 years now, I am an easy going person and just want to teach music and help people learn the guitar and experience the love I have for music, I have music on music streaming platforms (Spotify, amazon music, apple music)
Even if you are beginner or even dabbled a little bit, it doesnt matter, helping somebody to advance musically would be great.

It all started when I began teaching guitar classes on a home visit basis. I quickly realized that I had a natural talent for teaching, and it brought me immense joy to see my students progress and develop their skills.
In 2017, I joined the Sandeera Aesthetic Institute to teach guitar lessons to both kids and adults. It was a fantastic opportunity for me to grow as a teacher and to share my knowledge and expertise with a wider audience.
When the Covid-19 pandemic hit, I had to take the challenge of teaching online, which was a new experience for me. However, I embraced it and found ways to make the lessons engaging and interactive for my students.
My most challenging teaching experience was when I started working part-time at Yamaha School of Music, where I had to teach guitar to kids under the age of 10. I knew that the guitar could be challenging for young children to handle, so I had to get creative. I designed a lesson plan using nursery rhymes and other child-friendly songs, and it was a massive hit! The kids loved every minute of it, and I was thrilled to see them learn and progress.
I'm also passionate about giving back to the community, and I started a passion project of uploading guitar lessons to the (Kusal n Sandeera) & (Chill Escape with KS) YouTube channels. My goal was to make guitar lessons accessible to everyone, especially those who didn't have the opportunity to take private lessons. It's been a rewarding experience, and I've received positive feedback from many guitar enthusiasts who have benefitted from these lessons.
Overall, teaching guitar is not just a job for me; it's a way of life. I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to share my passion for music with others and to help them develop their skills and reach their full potential.

I chose to study Mathematics at A-Level and then univeristy not out of some deep love for the subject, but simply because it was challenging. It is problem solving to the extreme which requires grit and optimism. Far from being the stereotypical maths student, I enjoyed music (I played in a band during university), surfing and mountaineering. Having a wide interest base gives me life experience that means I am approachable and able to relate easily to people.
In sixth form I tutored a Year 9 pupil heading into GCSEs who lacked confidence when it came to Maths. Over the proceeding months we focussed on areas of struggle and building confidence. She passed her GCSEs and is now happily studying in univeristy. This lead to me teaching GCSE level Maths in Tuscany, Italy, over a month during my second year at Cardiff University. This was a unique and rewarding experience, with a fair share of communication challenges due to teaching in what was for some students their second or third langauge! However, I was commended on my communication skills and positive nature.
After completing univeristy in June 2020, I worked various jobs while preparing for Royal Marines training. I began Recruit Training early 2022, but had to leave as what I thought was minor calf muscle pain was actually MTSS. I was told to recover at home and rejoin when ready, which I intend to do. It was recommended that I re-apply as a Young Officer, which I am considering. Nonetheless, in the meantime I wish to give back and assist students learning after what has been a hugely disruptive time for them.

Hello, I offer guitar lessons for ages 11 upwards. Acoustic or electric guitar, the basics are the same. I have a good selection of pop songs and traditional tunes that you can chose from, or if you prefer to follow books, then we can follow RGT acoustic guitar grade books, which can lead to preparation for and taking the exams.
I also teach Czech language, which is my mother tongue. My lessons contain vocabulary (each lesson a new topic), grammar, and language games. I try to make my lessons conversation-based but we can follow a textbook if that's how you prefer to learn a language.

I have acquired a wealth of experience within the music business, with a semi-professional involvement that has spanned over thirty years. I didn’t pick up the electric guitar until I was seventeen, but I was playing in a band within six months due to my obsession and methodical self-teaching.
I now play several related instruments i. e. acoustic guitar, bass, banjo, ukulele, mandolin and the diatonic harmonica. I offer lessons on all these instruments.
I became a music teacher at a relatively late stage in my career, in fact it happened almost by accident! I had just been made redundant from an engineering position, and was killing time in a local music shop by trying out a guitar (October 2002). The proprietor was evidently impressed with my playing, because he asked if I was interested in taking on students. My first students were all originally customers of this shop (Muzart, in Bishop’s Stortford). Another local music shop in Harlow (Tones) has also been kind enough to allow me to advertise in their premises for students. I have since become a member of the Registry of Guitar Tutors. and the Musicians Union.
I consider myself as one of the lucky people whose hobby and interest have grown into a successful living.

BMT started in 2005 when founder Sam B. rode his bike to visit students in their homes to give guitar lessons. Back then it was a paper pocket book map, CDs and books, all bookings done in a paper diary…
Fast forward to 2021 and we now run a team of wonderful teachers and admin staff to spread the joy of making kids feel awesome through playing music.
Our teaching philosophy is all about giving students a great lesson experience so they have fun, build confidence and form identity through music.

I'm a professional Music lecturer and tutor, Guitar teacher and Bass tutor based in the West Midlands. As a Music tutor/instrumental tutor I have 1000+ hours of teaching experience, I hold a Popular Music Degree and in a College employment setting I have 14+ years experience of teaching college students from ages 16+ to adults in a range of levels (1-5).
I know every student’s journey is different, and my aim is to meet each student where they’re at, learning through Music we discuss their aims and develop the curriculum to develop their understanding.
As a musician I play in a variety of bands and performance situations as well as session work for bands and for artists up and down the UK.
I’m a Bass player for a Midlands based punk band who have released three albums and with this I have played festivals around the UK.
I play Guitar for a folk/rock band, a high end function band and also for a Queen tribute band.
As a teacher I work closely with pupils to develop personal goals, and work together on a simple plan on how to reach them. I believe understanding the reason the student is taking lessons and playing guitar/bass or embarking on other musical developments is fundamental to providing quality tuition, so I strive to create plans with the pupil to support their aims. Each lesson always keeps the pupil’s individual goals at its centre, and is created to develop musical fluency.
Ultimately I teach the student to teach themselves by understanding core musical concepts and developing a base of fundamental skills, these include; Ear Training - learning how to recognise the chords in any given song by ear; Strumming and Picking/Fingerpicking Technique - fluency with all standard right hand techniques is a must, and I teach these prioritising what is commonly used in their favourite styles; Reading TAB as well as Staff notation.
Creative Playing, Song Writing, and Improvising is my favourite area of playing and teaching as it helps learners find their own voice! I help to build knowledge of music theory in a practical and applicable way, exploring new concepts that will enable students to discover new sounds.
Again, this is catered to their aims - if they wish to write songs we'll look at some of their favourite artists/genres, see what they're doing, and set some aims for targets to write using some of their techniques.
If learners want to improvise, we'll explore some of our favourite improvisers - what scales to they use, how do they shape their phrases, and what articulation techniques are employed.
If learners have experience playing but need to improve techniques I can show drills and exercises that will make them a better player.
We explore a lot of aspects - from how to move economically; where to have tension and where to avoid it; tonal possibilities as well as how to structure your practice so you get the most for your time, whether you have a little or a lot.
