I am a qualified teacher with QTS and long term experience in teaching Maths and geography KS 2-4. I am currently working as a Maths intervention teacher while also tutoring GCSE Geography privately, improving grades and pupil confidence. I am conversant with on-going changes in both the curriculums, exam requirements, mark schemes and the topics of study for foundation to higher level. I explain Maths in step by step detail, in order to remove learning gaps that hinder progress while delivering planned lessons based on continous assessment and pupil strength 'n weaknesses, for maximum betterment. I teach Geography explaining not only the knowlege content but also subject specific vocabulary, answering strategies and exam techniques, using exam questions from past papers. I am literate in Urdu and have prepared pupils for GCSE exams, in line with exam requirements, using prescribed vocabulary lists as well as past exam papers. I have taught Urdu language speaking skills to adults and children and have a collection of appropriate picture resources to help. I am patient, dedicated and punctual in my commitments. |
