I am a Physics specialist and currently Head of Physics & Head of Year in the school I work at. I have been teaching for over 18 years now and have been proud to see many of my ex students pass their exams with flying colours. Some of the students I have taught are now working at CERN as a Particle Physicist, one has completed a PHd in Astrophysics and another is now a pilot. I aim to enthuse, engage and motivate and not just aim for good results, I aim to get students to love Physics and the world around them. I am keen on STEM related careers and will always encourage students, especially girls, to follow these routes into exciting and innovative careers. I'm a great believer in building strong relationships with my students, where we have a mutual understanding of the benefits to learning. Due to coronavirus, I will currently be able to only deliver online tuition, I am happy to have an initial free consultation/ chat to discuss your childs needs and what they are looking to achieve, both long and short term in terms of this subject. I would also be happy to have an initial online chat to see if my style is suited to your child and vice versa. I have QTS status and have an enhanced DBS certificate.
