English, Music theory, and piano lessons in Middlesbrough, UK and also online. I am a calm, friendly, polite and patient teacher with excellent attention to detail in grammar and spelling. My aim is to be the best help for my students to achieve their academic aims and career goals. However, the lessons I conduct are also fun and enjoyable. In all I do, I try to be dedicated and reliable. My communication skills are first-rate and I really enjoy working with different people every day. My students always return to me because of the satisfaction and benefit they experienced in my classes. I've been a tutor for 33 years and have consequently gained a lot of experience in the art of teaching. To be a good tutor, I try to access the student's wavelength because he/she needs to have faith and confidence in me so that I can teach him/her to the very best of my ability. In my English lessons. I concentrate on reading, composition, spelling, grammar and pronunciation. My hobbies are French, chess, tennis, table-tennis, movies and music. My passion is teaching. In my Music classes, I teach piano and/or singing performance, either for pleasure or for taking ABRSM grades, as well as Theory of Music grades 1 to 5 for children and adults alike. I welcome complete beginners up to the more advanced students. With more than 30 years' experience of teaching music, I am dependable and hard-working so that the impossible can become possible. |
