Additional information and experience - Polly E.

I have taught art history for many years, in art schools and secondary schools and sixth form colleges. My speciality is modern art but I have also taught courses on Rensaissnace art and Dutch 17th century art. I teach thematic courses on identity that consdier art works from many different time periods as well as basic visual analytic tools and approaches to interpretation. Although I specialise in Western art history I am increasingly including works from beyond the western tradition. Over the last ten years my A level students have repeatedlty attained some of the highest grades in the country and I believe this relfects both their sound knowledge and enthusiam for the subject. Many of my students have gone on to study art history at top universities across the UK.
