I have been tutoring French for over twenty years. I tutor to all levels: primary, secondary, GCSE, 'A'-level, as well as individual adults and families. I like to get to know my students and their families personally. I recognise that all students are different in terms of character and ability, and I like to think that I tailor my teaching to the needs of each individual. For GCSE and 'A'-level students, I am familiar with all current examination board syllabuses. For adults, I can help improve your speaking and understanding of the language, and am happy to supply recent references. My hobbies include playing table-tennis in a local league, gardening and general reading, For the majority of my early working life ,I worked as a representative for the Publishing Department of a Trade Organisation, which involved technical translation work and liaising with our offices in Brussels, Paris and Geneva. .I have always loved the French language, and I am currently working towards the diploma in translation. |
