It all started when I began teaching guitar classes on a home visit basis. I quickly realized that I had a natural talent for teaching, and it brought me immense joy to see my students progress and develop their skills. In 2017, I joined the Sandeera Aesthetic Institute to teach guitar lessons to both kids and adults. It was a fantastic opportunity for me to grow as a teacher and to share my knowledge and expertise with a wider audience. When the Covid-19 pandemic hit, I had to take the challenge of teaching online, which was a new experience for me. However, I embraced it and found ways to make the lessons engaging and interactive for my students. My most challenging teaching experience was when I started working part-time at Yamaha School of Music, where I had to teach guitar to kids under the age of 10. I knew that the guitar could be challenging for young children to handle, so I had to get creative. I designed a lesson plan using nursery rhymes and other child-friendly songs, and it was a massive hit! The kids loved every minute of it, and I was thrilled to see them learn and progress. I'm also passionate about giving back to the community, and I started a passion project of uploading guitar lessons to the (Kusal n Sandeera) & (Chill Escape with KS) YouTube channels. My goal was to make guitar lessons accessible to everyone, especially those who didn't have the opportunity to take private lessons. It's been a rewarding experience, and I've received positive feedback from many guitar enthusiasts who have benefitted from these lessons. Overall, teaching guitar is not just a job for me; it's a way of life. I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to share my passion for music with others and to help them develop their skills and reach their full potential. |
