My name is Kiera and I always struggled in primary school to focus and understand in ways which the teachers were teaching. I never understood why untill finding out that I'm dyslexic, which made sense why I learnt in different ways to my friends. Hence why now I have decided to help others that might feel the same, as I know what it feels like so being able to use my own experience to help children to feel more confident in themselves and their abilities in maths and English then let's go on that adventure together. Why am I only just starting to tutor? I have decided to start tutoring as I was working in a nursery as a practitioner. I really enjoyed teaching the preschoolers their phonics, numbers, problem solving skills and encouraging mark making to progress to start learning how to write letters. I am currently on maternity leave and have time to dedicate to teaching which is something I am aiming towards in the future by training to be a primary school teacher.
