I come from an engineering background. I have had a varied work life starting in electronics repairs after graduating in Industrial Electronics in Malta. I than moved to the oil industry in Aberdeen and abroad where apart electronic work, I became a hydraulics specialist. During most of my working life I had the opportunity to tutor and advice many apprentices and graduates in my field. In most cases this involved going back to basic physics and maths in order to explain complex engineering systems. Apart from work, physics and maths have always been my preferred subjects and today I continue to study and learn as much as possible in my spare time. |
