I have gained QTS grade 1 outstanding in Secondary English. I am an English Language & Linguistics graduate with a passion for helping young people succeed academically and exceeding their goals. My experience within an educational setting is multifaceted having worked with students across a broad spectrum of ages and abilities both 1-1 and in large groups. I am familiar with all popular exam boards at GCSE level including AQA, Edexcel and Cambridge iGCSE. I have an in-depth knowledge of the new 9-1 GCSE both language and literature papers. Last year, 90% of my class achieved a grade 7 or above in English Literature (50% achieved a grade 8 or above) and 50% in English Language. My personal progress 8 score was 1. 62 with national average being 0. This demonstrates the outstanding progress made by pupils in my class. I understand how much pressure students can feel to achieve across all subjects and I am confident in my ability to support students in a professional and friendly manner in helping them to achieve their full potential. |
