I trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and gained a First Class Honours Degree in July 2021. I studied violin with Andre Swanepoel and viola with Dorothea Vogel. I also have Violin Grade 8 with Distinction. I love working with children and young people, and have lots of patience and enthusiasm. I am friendly and have a cheerful disposition, and am organized and keen to make lessons fun. I teach violin and viola for all ages from 6 years up, from beginner to Grade 8. I am keen to share my passion for music with others. Close attention is taken to good technique, but tuition will span a large variety of musical genres. I prepare students for ABRSM or Trinity violin examinations Grades 1 - 8, but some of my students just learn for pleasure. I hold a current DBS certificate (Enhanced), and I also have Grade 8 piano. |
