I taught at a secondary school in West Norfolk for 10 years but have now decided to tutor full time. I ensure my mathematics skills are up to date and I understand the latest exam requirements and teaching methods. I only tutor pupils using online sessions .
As well as experience with all English exam boards for maths I can also tutorfor WJEC (Welsh exam board). I also have experience with the IGCSE Maths exam and can teach Statistics GCSE.
Pupils use my tutoring lessons to ensure they fully understand what they have been taught in school, to help improve their exam grades and to assist with home schooling lessons. I tailor my tutoring for each pupil and discuss their needs and requirements with them not only during the first tutoring lesson but on an ongoing basis.
I have expreience tutoring pupils who excel at maths and pupils who struggle with their maths. I also have experience with SEND pupils including Autusim, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia and ADHD.

No previous programming experience is necessary. Tuition is available both locally (Newmarket and Cambridge area) and nationally (via Skype, Zoom or similar, using screen sharing).
For A-level and GCSE students, I produce a comprehensive spreadsheet to keep track of their progress - listing each part of the course syllabus, including my own notes on the topics and links to relevant resources. I also maintain a number of YouTube playlists of videos relevant to the courses.
I have been tutoring since 2015, during which time I have tutored over 200 students at all levels.
I have written articles on game development for Wireframe magazine - e.g. Coding Space Invaders’ disintegrating shields, and was a major contributor to Code the Classics, published by Raspberry Pi Press.

I am a committed, enthusiastic and friendly tutor/mentor with 30 years of teaching experience and up to date knowledge of teaching methods. Since graduating from the University or Reading in 1992, I have taught in a variety of Norfolk schools - both primary and secondary (including an American school here in the U. K.). I have a proven track record of improving pupil achievement in maths and am able to offer tailor-made tuition to meet individual pupil needs - whether the student is struggling to keep up at school, developing confidence or preparing for exams.

I have considerable experience teaching in the UK and in various other countries around the world within Africa, Asia and the Caribbean in a variety of subjects from A Level to Key Stage 1. Hi! My name is Meg and I have recently become a qualified History teacher with a focus on KS3 & 4. I believe I hold a unique skill set that would benefit students as I am freshly qualified and therefore up to date on learning science and history.
I have been a teacher of A-level and below Chemistry for well over 10 years. During tast time I have worked as head of science in a comprehensive school, but I am currently a Chemistry A-level teacher at one of Norfolks highest achieveing schools. Around 50% of our students get A or bettern at A-level. Although my first love is to teach students Chemistry and to also love and enjoy the subject, I understand that many people are looking for preparation for external exams. My ability to prepare students for these is enhanced by the fact that I have been an examiner for many exam boards, including OCR, and CIE over the last 10 years. As well as marking hunderds of these exams I have taken part in meetings where markschemes are revised, interpretted and finalised so I understand what is being looked for. As long as a student is motivated, and prepared to work hard, I can improve their ability and outcomes in Chemistry.
