I am a Spanish native and have lived and worked in Glastonbury for the last 9 years. I am a certified teacher (QTS) with a B.A. (Hon) in Educational Psychology from Murcia University in Spain.
I have extensive experience of teaching students of all ages and levels in Spain and the UK. Feedback from students and exam results have been excellent.
I tailor my tutoring sessions to the individual needs and learning styles of each student. I create a rapport with students, allowing them to feel at ease and build confidence in their own capabilities through support and encouragement. All this, while making learning fun and interesting, which I believe to be an important part in developing an ongoing passion for Spanish language and culture.
I take a deep satisfaction in encouraging students to fulfil their potential and see their growing love for Spanish language and culture. Through my coherent, motivational and interactive teaching I provide students with a strong foundation and enthusiasm for developing Spanish language.

As a consistently high achiever throughout my academic journey, I have always been at the top of my class, even securing the highest score among 200 peers on one of my A-Level papers, where I was just 5% shy of a perfect score. My dedication to education started early, reflected in my GCSE results, where I earned grades higher than 7 in all subjects. I’ve continued this pursuit of excellence through my A-Levels, with plans to further my studies at the University of Birmingham.
Beyond academics, I’ve gained valuable experience working with people of all ages in a professional setting at trampoline parks. This role honed my ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals, from young children to adults, and strengthened my skills in creating a positive, engaging environment for everyone. This experience, combined with my academic achievements, equips me to connect with and support students at all levels, helping them achieve their full potential. Whether you’re in primary school or preparing for college exams, I’m here to help you succeed with personalized, effective tutoring.

I have been a History teacher in a large secondary school for nearly 15 years. I have mainly taught History and EPQ but can also teach Religious Studies and Government and Politics. Having also been a Head of Year I am understanding that all students learn in a different way and that a tutor can help to recognise effective ways that individuals learn and maximise them in a focussed environment. I have a great love for the humanities subjects and will be an enthusiastic and welcoming tutor for you, whatever your needs are.
