Do you want to learn Japanese from scratch? Do you want to improve your Japanese with fun?
Let me help you. I am a qualified teacher with extensive experience in teaching and comprehensive knowledge of Education. I have completed Two MA and PhD graduate studies in Japan and the UK. I have taught Japanese at a prestigious grammar school in Kent.
With a long-term teaching career, I know how to deliver an effective lesson to improve students’ performance.
In my lesson, you can speak Japanese as much as you want! Because practice is the key to successful learning and a shortcut to becoming a fluent speaker. Even if you have full knowledge, it could be practically pointless when you cannot use it in a real situation.
I deliver pacey, articulate, and intensive lessons with lots of fun elements. I can customise lessons depending on your goal, interest, and level so that the format will vary. Absolute beginners are also very welcome, too!
Absolute beginner course has about 48 lessons /30 minutes (=24 lessons/ hour). I mainly use my handmade presentation slides created for standardised tests based on the grammar school's curriculum. You can gradually increase vocabularies and practise grammar in an organized way. When you complete this course, you will be able to speak, read, write, and listen to basic Japanese.
I am available before 5pm on weekdays, but this does not always apply to every student. So, please contact me to find out the detail.
Your first lesson is about 20 minutes, which is set for getting to know each other and check your Japanese level.
Lesson duration: One session is
30 mins or 40 mins. You can choose!
The platform is Zoom. The Lesson fee varies.
For face-to-face lesson, I am available morinig and early afternoon.

My experience gives me confidence to teach students of all ability and have had great success working with children with eating disorders, anxiety, autism and deafness.

I have worked in Primary Education for 28 years. I have been an ESOL teacher for the past two years. I hold an enhanced DBS. I provide tailored learning, personalised to suit your child's unique needs and learning styles. I have SEND experience.
Having taught science for 4 years and tutored Science for 5 years, I have aquired a vast amount of techniques to teach both KS3 and KS4 level. I believe all students learn in their own specific way and I tutor based on the needs of the student. I have a huge amount of experience with SEND/k students also, having been a TA previiously before becoming a teacher.
My methodology is tailored to each student needs and the progress is monitored regularly. I am very confident with the methods I use as I tutor at different levels which means I can choose the right level based on student needs. I always follow a simple approach in teaching Maths I teach in a clear simple style and I make sure the student understands by testing.
I plan my lessons in advance based on student needs! I am flexible, I can do practice based on exam papers for higher levels or I can also do individual lesson plans for any topic on lower levels. I am confident with all levels.
For each lesson I send notes and I also provide workbooks and homework !
In my free time I enjoy going to the gym. I also enjoy decorating my flat and also cooking!
I am currently the Director of IT at a leading Girls School in Blackheath and happy to tutor students in the Blackheath/Sidcup/Eltham area or back nearer West Malling where I live - plus tutor online as well. I have been teaching Computer Science in Blackheath for the last 10 years and keen to help students with their coding or understanding the theory required. I was also a network manager so have practical experience I can share with students. I originally trained and worked as a secondary school English teacher, but I found the pressure in schools led to teachers being overwhelmed with paperwork and the teaching element almost became a lesser priority. Now I prefer to focus on private tuition where my primary aim is teaching and enabling students to achieve. At Perfect Plus Tutoring, we strive to create an academic atmosphere which is enjoyable as well as beneficial. I offer private tuition to students in North Kent, Medway and Maidstone areas.
