Delivering in Pace
I was working on a very important project when another priority project came up at the last minute. Both were due at the same time. There was no way I was going to be able to deliver both of these tasks at once, but I needed to somehow work out a way of meeting both deadlines while making sure that my work was of a high standard.
I got in contact with several members of my team and explained my workload problem. I asked who had some time they could devote to supporting the projects.
A colleague was available to support with the second project. I explained the requirements carefully while making sure I wasn’t using up too much of my colleague’s time. This allowed me to focus on delivering the first project - I was then able to assess the secondary project and make minor refinements.
Both projects were delivered on time and I’m pleased to say they were of a high standard.

As a maths teaching assistant at the University of Benin Staff School, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse group of students over the past two years. My responsibilities as a teaching assistant have included providing individual and group tutoring, grading assignments, and helping to develop lesson plans.
During my time as a teaching assistant, I have learned how to effectively communicate complex mathematical concepts in a way that is accessible and engaging for students. I have also developed strong interpersonal skills, which have enabled me to connect with students on a personal level and help them to achieve their academic goals.
Working at the University of Benin Staff School has been a rewarding experience. The school is known for its commitment to providing a high-quality education to its students, and I have had the opportunity to work with some incredibly talented and motivated students during my time there. The school also places a strong emphasis on community involvement, and I have been fortunate enough to participate in a number of outreach programs that have allowed me to give back to the community in meaningful ways.
Overall, my experience as a maths teaching assistant at the University of Benin Staff School has been a valuable learning opportunity. write a short essay about myself 100words , I love reading , teaching Maths, stufjng , researching , sports and helping people
I am a person who finds joy in many things in life. I have a great passion for reading, and I find that books are one of the best ways to broaden my horizons and gain new knowledge. Teaching mathematics is another activity that brings me immense satisfaction, as I am able to help students understand and appreciate the beauty of this subject. Along with this, I also enjoy researching and exploring new ideas and concepts that help me grow both personally and professionally.
Apart from my academic interests, I have a keen interest in sports, which helps me stay fit and healthy. I also take pleasure in helping people, whether it be through volunteering, donating, or simply being there for someone in need. All in all, I believe that life is a journey of learning and exploration, and I am excited to see where it takes me in the future.

I am currently studying as an undergraduate for a Mathematics degree at the University of Bath. I have achieved A*s in Maths and Further Maths at A-Level (WJEC) and in Maths, Maths Numeracy and a distinction in additional maths at GCSE level (WJEC), so am able to cover A-Level and GCSE content for students studying for these awards, but, in addition, am happy with tutoring maths to any students who are in KS3, KS2 or KS1. My tutorials would be focused on initially explaining or revising a concept, going through some questions related to that topic, with explanation as to how it should be solved and checking the student understands the concept by looking at another question related to that concept and asking the student to attempt the question or to explain how they would attempt to solve the question. In between tutorial sessions, questions of varying levels of difficulty would be given to the students for them to attempt, and these questions would then be marked when they are handed in, ideally around the time of the next tutorial session, and feedback would be given to the student surrounding those questions, with potentially more questions given for consolidation if the concept remains difficult to grasp. Questions and open discussions are ideal to ensure that topics are fully understood, and tutorials would ensure that students feel comfortable to ask about anything they might be having difficulty with.
