I source most of my tutees via word of mouth recommendation and through my facebook page Milborne Maths. This academic year, I had a few resit students approach me therefore some slots have opened up mid way through the year now they have sat their exams which is unusual! I am usually fully booked by now and having to turn people away - so you may be in luck!
I use the zoom platform to host my lessons and have an online calendar that students usually book from.
Please message and I shall do my best to accommodate both of our needs and hopefully we are suited for maths lessons together!

I am a Spanish native and have lived and worked in Glastonbury for the last 9 years. I am a certified teacher (QTS) with a B.A. (Hon) in Educational Psychology from Murcia University in Spain.
I have extensive experience of teaching students of all ages and levels in Spain and the UK. Feedback from students and exam results have been excellent.
I tailor my tutoring sessions to the individual needs and learning styles of each student. I create a rapport with students, allowing them to feel at ease and build confidence in their own capabilities through support and encouragement. All this, while making learning fun and interesting, which I believe to be an important part in developing an ongoing passion for Spanish language and culture.
I take a deep satisfaction in encouraging students to fulfil their potential and see their growing love for Spanish language and culture. Through my coherent, motivational and interactive teaching I provide students with a strong foundation and enthusiasm for developing Spanish language.

I have many years experience of teaching A-level Chemistry and Biology at Sixth form Colleges in Somerset and London. I am currently teaching GCSE and A-level Chemistry at a private school in Dorset.
I prefer to conduct the first two-three sessions with students in person (I'm happy to travel to clients houses) as this allows me to get to know the students better. I'm offering my services principally because I genuinely enjoy helping young people to achieve their potential (rather than to earn money), hence my preference for in-person tutoring. After 2-3 initial sessions, I'm happy to either switch to online sessions or continue with in person sessions (or a mixture of both). Therefore, I would prefer students who live in the Yeovil/Sherborne areas - or weithin 10 miles of Yeovil).
I'm happy to provide tuition in all aspects of A-level or GCSE Chemistry or Biology.

First session is free to discuss with student/parent where the student is up to in the course and what areas they feel confident with; in this session we can begin to go over something small within the course and get to know each other, while finalising a set day and time to have the session.
