I am a British PhD with degrees from the universities of London, Jerusalem, and Cambridge. Author of 'Israel and the Cold War: Diplomacy, Strategy, and the Policy of the Periphery at the United Nations' (I. B. Tauris/Palgrave Macmillan, 2013), I have written for several academic journals and newspapers and reviewed for the Royal Institute of International Affairs, Chatham House. I was the first recipient of the Mikardo scholarship awarded by the British Foreign Office, and, whilst at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, I was awarded a Golda Meir Fellowship. Whilst at Cambridge, I won a Donner prize in Atlantic Studies. In addition to the subjects listed below, I tutor in International Relations and Middle Eastern Studies, and I'm happy to consider all enquiries within my general areas of interest and experience. I am also available for dissertation consultation, proofreading, and help in exam and essay writing.
A former Teaching Fellow at King's College London, I have taught MA courses on the Arab-Israeli conflict, US and British Foreign Policy, War and Peace in the Middle East, and Inter-Faith Relations. A fluent Hebrew speaker, I was Peer Tutor in Hebrew at University College London, where I was awarded the departmental prize for excellence in the Hebrew language. I have tutored privately abroad, as well as in Britain, and have an immensely successful record with my tutees. In addition to online tuition throughout the academic year, I also offer intensive tuition during school and university holidays, which both tutees and parents find particularly useful for preparation, consolidation of knowledge and, if need be, to get a tutee back on track. For peace of mind, I have an enhanced DBS check, and am subscribed to the annual update service.
Tuition Approach.
Patient, understanding, relaxed, interactive, theme-based, and multi-disciplinary. Use of past papers, analysis, deconstruction of exam and essay questions, concepts, and requirements, development of essay and exam structure. I pay particular attention to a student's self-confidence and self-expression, which often serve as catalysts for enhanced self-belief and success.

Preoven fact, children listen bettter and pay greater attention to 'outsiders' than to their own parents/siblings.
Sending your child to me, a mother of 3 for tutoring provides numerous benefits that can make a significant impact on their academic success and personal growth. Here's why you should consider me as a tutor for your child:
1. Individualized Attention: I recognize that every child learns differently. I provide personalized attention to understand your child's unique learning style and tailor my approach to meet their specific needs.
2. Expertise and Experience: With my background in maths and science, I have the expertise to help your child grasp difficult concepts, improve their study skills, and build confidence in their abilities.
3. Engaging and Interactive Sessions: I employ a variety of teaching methods to keep the learning experience engaging, interactive, and enjoyable for your child. This creates a positive and supportive learning environment where they can thrive.
4. Tracking Progress: I believe in tracking and discussing your child's progress regularly, ensuring that they are continually improving and gaining a deeper understanding of the subject matter.
5. Building Confidence and Motivation: I am dedicated to nurturing your child's self-confidence and motivation, instilling a love for learning that extends beyond the classroom.
6. Flexible and Convenient Scheduling: I understand the demands of your family's schedule and am committed to providing flexible tutoring sessions that accommodate your needs.
7. Strong Communication: I maintain open, honest, and supportive communication with both you and your child, ensuring that you are always informed about your child's progress and any areas of improvement.
8. Holistic Approach: I believe in a holistic approach to education, encouraging your child to see the interconnectedness of various subjects and how they relate to their daily lives.
9. Positive and Supportive Environment: Your child will thrive in a positive, nurturing environment where they feel encouraged to ask questions, share their thoughts, and take risks in their learning journey.
10. Preparation for the Future: By receiving tutoring from me, your child will not only improve their performance in specific subjects but also develop essential skills that will benefit them throughout their academic and professional careers.
Ultimately, I am committed to providing your child with the tools, knowledge, and confidence they need to achieve their full potential. With my guidance and support, your child can excel academically, develop a lifelong love for learning, and become a confident, well-rounded individual.
