I gained QTS in 2012 and spent over 10 years delivering outstanding lessons at one of the top rated Grammar schools in England. I am a graduate from the University of Aston Birmingham. For the last 10 years, I have been working as a primary school teacher at an outstanding school.
I have over 15 years experience and have worked within many schools, two of which were long-term.
Over the years, my teaching career has allowed me to experience many different and difficult situations. These in turn have made me a more confident, organised, resourceful and experienced (in many years groups) teacher.
My current role is a Year 2 class teacher, however I have taught children from Nursery up to Year 6 as a cover teacher too.
I took part in the Government led school tutoring program, where I tutored 3 children from Year 2 in Writing. This has deepened my experience further, especially when assisting children to achieve the best they can.
I have carried out and planned for many 1:1 or group interventions in Maths and English to assist with our school's Covid catch-up program.
I want to build a good rapport with my pupils, a relationship that is fun, respectful and honest.

I hold a BSc Psychology degree from the University of Bath, which was in the top 5 UK universities when I was there. I graduated this past summer (2024), whilst the university was ranked number two in the UK for psychology.
I am a current trainee teacher at the Univeristy of Worcester. I have been teaching A-Level psychology for almost 5 months now. I have marked multiple sets of mock examinations, and teach both year 12 and year 13.
I did four A-Levels and two AS levels myself, in which I received four A grades and two A*s (one of which in psychology).
I am looking for as much teaching experience as possible whilst hoping to make a difference for students. I am extremely confident and comfortable with the A-level specification, and aim to be starting a Masters in Psychology part time whilst I teach.
