I am an academic by profession and I have been a personal tutor for 8 years on various website including online and in person. My goal is to share my knowledge with people of all age groups who are interested in learning a foreign language and humanities subjects either for personal exams or just for fun. I also aim to make my lessons as enjoyable as possible not just for the sake of breaking the "monotony" of classroom style teaching, but also because I want to engage with my tutees in order to help them achieve their best results in the most efficient way possible. I have been involved in photography as an amateur and professional for over 40 years. I owned and ran a professional chemical-based darkroom in N. Wales from 1984-92. Photoshop is considered the industry standard for photo editing. I would not consider myself a Photoshop “guru” although I’ve been using the programme since version 3. 0 in 1993 - There is always more to learn.
I liked to think I’m meticulous and concise, I always strive to do good work. I’m passionate about photography and the photograph. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and insight. I have done studio, landscape, stll life, events and product photography. In fact, it may be easier to say I cannot take photographs underwater or in space. Everything else I’m OK with.
