🎓 Who Am I? I’m a fully qualified Maths Teacher and former Head of Maths with over 8 years of leadership experience. I’m also an experienced tutor with a proven track record of helping students achieve top grades in both GCSE Foundation (grades 4–5) and GCSE Higher (grades 7–9). I’ve successfully supported a wide range of learners, including students with ADHD and autism, helping them build skills, confidence, and exam success. I am fully DBS checked having worked in a variety of settings such as Secondary, Primary, SEMH and SEN schools as well as being a football coach for children between 4-11 years of age.

I have a degree in Automotive Engineering and a PhD in Racecar Aerodynamics both from Loughborough University, where I also taught undergraduate modules in Statics & Dynamics, Fluid Dynamics, Low Speed Aerodynamic, Ground Vehicle Aerodynamics and CAD. Prior to completing my PGCE I was a research engineer developing hydrogen fuel cell technology for a range of clean technology applications.

HI, my name is Charlotte but everyone calls me Lottie. I have the ability to communicate with children especially those with learning disabilities as I have learned so much from having them myself. Having Dyslexia, Irlens and Hearing Processing Disorder made school really hard for me so with the right techniques that I honed over the years I was able to go to my dream university to do my dream course, Architecture. Throughout secondary school I tutored at GCSE level in the 3 sciences and the Design Subjects as this is where I thrived. Hello, I offer guitar lessons for ages 11 upwards. Acoustic or electric guitar, the basics are the same. I have a good selection of pop songs and traditional tunes that you can chose from, or if you prefer to follow books, then we can follow RGT acoustic guitar grade books, which can lead to preparation for and taking the exams.
I also teach Czech language, which is my mother tongue. My lessons contain vocabulary (each lesson a new topic), grammar, and language games. I try to make my lessons conversation-based but we can follow a textbook if that's how you prefer to learn a language.

I am a fully qualified (QTS) secondary teacher of Biology with 9 years experience working in mainstream schools and I have been tutoring for the last 5 years. I have tutored GCSE and A level biology following the OCR and AQA specifications. I am passionate about my subject and provide a range of reources from past exam questions, experimental methods, animations and text books to enable students to fully understand the subject and for them to achieve thier best. I work on the basis of the students informing me what they would like to revise, go over or learn and plan acordingly for the following session, i can also help with homework set by the class teacher. I provide extra resources for the students to use after the tutoring session which we can go over the following session if they require it.
