My name is Rowan A. and I am a professional actor, who also has experience in producing, directing and writing. I have also co-founded Skedaddle Theatre, a physical comedy theatre company. I have written, directed and produced "A Brief Case of Crazy" for Skedaddle, as well as playing the lead part in the show. The production has recently completed a successful run at Riverside Studios in London. I graduated East 15 Acting School in 2023, studying on the Acting & Physical Theatre course. I am still new to the professional industry, however I have very quickly gained vast experience, working on multiple plays and productions around the country at some very prestigious theatres. Alongside naturalistic acting, I specialise in comedy acting, physical comedy, character comedy, mime, clowning and physical theatre. Further skills include puppetry and object manipulation. All of which I incorporate into the professional productions I create. If you are looking to develop your skills as an actor, comedy actor, or learn new forms of physical performance, I have you covered. I also offer services for parents looking to put their children forward for acting tutoring, or for parents looking for extra support with upcoming LAMDA exams (I have completed grade 8 LAMDA myself, so I have a great understanding of the process). I've had a few years of teaching experience. The first time I taught was in 2018 when I taught water sports and safety. Then, during the COVID Pandemic, I tutored students who were struggling with school. After completing university, I travelled all the way to Kyrgyzstan in Central Asia to teach English as a foreign language.
My specialties are English, Welsh, history and art.
With 10 years teaching experience I provide tuition across the curriculum at Key Stages 1, 2 & 3 plus GCSE Maths, Biology and www.*** provide an individualised, child/student-centred teaching approach with regular assessments to ensure progress.
I have more than 2years experience in teaching of science subjects in school. I’m online tutor as well who promotes conceptual learning of science.
The standard of the Graduateship course and Examination in Chemistry is equivalent to that of a Bachelor of Science Honors (4-year) Degree in Chemistry.
My favourite subject is Biology, but whilst it is my favourite I have qualifications in many other Subjects too. 10 GCSEs in English Lit & Lang, Maths, Biology Chemistry, Physics, Hitsory, Geography, Art, Creative Imedia. And 3 Alevels in Biology, Chemistry and English Lit. Ive been tutoring my sister at home for the past year to help her excel in her GCSEs and have had tutoring experience myself, so I understand just what it is like. I am open to any learning types, as my main goal is to just help your child excel.
