I grew up in Spain. When I was 16 years old I started private tutoring to children. Then I moved to a school language academy as an English teacher in Spain.
I taught some Spanish online to British people, now I moved to London 2 months ago and I would love to do continue teaching Spanish.
I am very passionate about my language and specially teaching it to people. I also love to deep into Spanish culture in my lessons and teaching some secrets from this beautiful culture.

The nature of my work in education has prepared me for this position since I have always wanted to make a difference and have always been in teaching environments from a very young age. A key part of my career is helping students reach their potential, which I work towards by focusing on making the classes interesting, engaging, and entertaining.

I currently teach French and Spanish from year 6 to 11 at an independent school, after training as a teacher in 2015. I have also been a private tutor to pre-GCSE, GCSE and A-level students for 3 years.
I am passionate about languages and have a keen interest in the theory of language aquisition.
In my one-to-one sessions, I taylor my method and materials to suit students' learning styles and personal objectives. So far, I have been taking on private tutees through word of mouth, but having had to deliver their sessions online due to Covid 19, I have explored how to use online resources to develop online tutoring sessions effectively.
This summer, I can offer small group online workshops to focus on particular skills or specific language structure issues. These would be best suited to students using laptops, rather than tablets, and would be using zoom, an application called www.*** and possibly collaboration sites such as Google drive and office 365.
Minimum number of participants: 2 / Maximum. 5.
Cost - £20/60 mins session (Some workshops can be 4 or 5 sessions long, and the cost for the entire workshop must be paid upfront)

I am a Spanish native speaker from Cadiz, Andalusia, living and teaching in London for more than 5 years now. I started teaching Spanish as a private tutor and, since 2017, I work in a well-known and sucessful independent school in London, NLCS.
My experience in this school as well as my studies at University back me up to guarentee meaningful and well prepared Spanish lessons, focusing on the concrete specification that the student is doing at school, since I am familiar with all of them.

I became interested in teaching through working as an English teacher and homework advice with kids in Bogotá-Colombia (where I come from) something I have done since I was 21, training to become a leader in the process. My subsequent four-year BA English and Bilingualism education course at Unipanamericana University has served further to fire my enthusiasm and prepared me effectively to take responsibility for my own class.
During my degree I have undertaken four practices: in 6°,7°,8° grade (12 to 15 years) in Gimnacio Ingles Campestre (Bogota-Colombia), Main teacher at Univerty Unipanamerica (Bogotá - Colombia) with young adults teaching English and teaching Spanish in Milton Keynes for adults. These practices have given me a good understanding of different curriculum and of what makes effective teaching in various ages.
My time in each context has developed my philosophy of valuing each student as an individual, as well as part of a community. I aim to give the students as many learning opportunities and experiences as possible in order to engage, motivate and prepare them for future life. An appropriate, balanced, challenging and creative curriculum is essential in developing students’s skills, knowledge and understanding. These all underpin personalised learning.
