I am an enthusiastic and dedicated languages teacher looking to help all those requiring language tuition in London and online.
I come from a trilingual family and have spoken Spanish, Portuguese and English since childhood. I studied languages as part of my undergraduate degree at the University of Leeds, obtaining a first class BA in History with Spanish and Portuguese.
After a decade working in law, I returned to my language roots and qualified as a languages teacher in 2018. I taught Spanish for three years to London secondary school students, focusing on GCSE and A Level exam preparation. I also worked additionally as a Portuguese GCSE speaking examiner during exam season, something which I continue to do today. In 2021, I finally decided to focus full-time on my private tutoring career as a Spanish and Portuguese language tutor.
Whether you're looking for formal public exam preparation or a tutor to practise everyday conversational skills with, I'm ready to help. My hour-long lessons are designed to be an open and encouraging space in which students can practise and improve their language skills. I work to ensure that they are fun, interactive and as light-hearted as possible while always focused intently on my students' learning needs. What sets me apart is that I tailor my sessions to each individual student's particular strengths, goals and interests to ensure maximum engagement.

I am a Spanish native speaker from Cadiz, Andalusia, living and teaching in London for more than 5 years now. I started teaching Spanish as a private tutor and, since 2017, I work in a well-known and sucessful independent school in London, NLCS.
My experience in this school as well as my studies at University back me up to guarentee meaningful and well prepared Spanish lessons, focusing on the concrete specification that the student is doing at school, since I am familiar with all of them.
As the situation is not suitable for 1-2-1 lessons in person, I am ofering them online. My IT skills and experience teaching online in the summer term in my school allows me to say that I can offer the same quality of lessons that will help you to achieve your goals.

Hello everyone! I moved into London 6 months ago from Spain because I wanted to continue learning about teaching Spanish.
I grew up in Spain. When I was 16 years old I started private tutoring to children. Then I moved to a school language academy as an English teacher in Spain.
I taught some Spanish online to British people, now I moved to London 2 months ago and I would love to do continue teaching Spanish.

She achieved 3 As at A-Level in Spanish, English Literature and Drama and Theatre Studies and then went on to study for a BA in Hispanic Studies at King’s College London. Her time there included a year abroad at UNAM (Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico) where she was able to refine her spoken Spanish skills and gain a wider insight into Latin American culture. After graduating she also spent 3 months in Bolivia teaching Human Rights to children aged 6-16.
Suzanna is a qualified secondary languages teacher with a PGCE from UCL’s Institute of Education and has experience teaching Spanish and French at key stages 3, 4 and 5 in a school environment.
I studied a Bachelor´s degree in English Studies at University of Salamanca and last year I did a Masters in Education. Currently I´m studying a Masters in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. I have five year experience in teaching both English and Spanish to kids around the ages of 14 to 18. I have also worked as a teaching assistant in both Spain and London for a year. I have an online teaching experience of two years. I use my own materials and technological resources to enhance the learning process and make it easier and fun for students.
I am a Head of Faculty in a secondary school in South London. I have been teaching for the last 4 years and before that, I was a Language Assitant in a gramamr school and in a boarding school in Ascot. I have successfully helped all of my students to improve their speaking skills, especially when I was a Language assistant and I am keen to provide help and support to anyone who needs it.

I currently teach French and Spanish from year 6 to 11 at an independent school, after training as a teacher in 2015. I have also been a private tutor to pre-GCSE, GCSE and A-level students for 3 years.
I am passionate about languages and have a keen interest in the theory of language aquisition.
In my one-to-one sessions, I taylor my method and materials to suit students' learning styles and personal objectives. So far, I have been taking on private tutees through word of mouth, but having had to deliver their sessions online due to Covid 19, I have explored how to use online resources to develop online tutoring sessions effectively.
This summer, I can offer small group online workshops to focus on particular skills or specific language structure issues. These would be best suited to students using laptops, rather than tablets, and would be using zoom, an application called www.*** and possibly collaboration sites such as Google drive and office 365.

Spanish:
* I am Peruvian so Spanish is my native language. I carried out my teacher training (PGCE) in Spanish with French.
* I have taught Spanish at high achieving grammar schools in North London since September 2013.
* I can offer support with GCSE and A Level, conversational Spanish for any ages and translations.
Politics:
* I am a Politics graduate from Manchester and I have a Masters degree from UCL in Latin American Politics.
* I held the post of Head of Politics at my previous school for 6 years. I have taught Politics since September 2013.
* I have been an examiner for Edexcel since 2017 and therefore can help students with exam technique, in particular for UK Politics and Political Ideas.
Availability:
* I can offer weekday evening tutoring sessions online or in person in North London and I can also offer some weekend tutoring in the mornings (depending on time and location).
