I aim to provide a stimulating, challenging and fun learning environment that encourages pupils to trust their own opinions while fostering confidence in order for students to realize their full potential and discovering what truly inspires them. Through my experiences I have learnt that if students construct their own learning experiences, they will not only retain information longer, but they will also become more confident with their capacities. I enjoy tutoring students and helping them build confidence in their ability to achieve, both academically and socially. I am challenged to be creative, nurturing and most of all, patient.
With experience at university, secondary and primary level in different educational environments, I have acquired the skills to deal with students in a day to day basis, I am now able to mediate to solve problems in the best manners, as well as knowing how to be strict when situations require. According to the results of different tests, some of them comparable to GCSE, A-levels or IGCSE, a wide majority of my former students had no difficulties to exceed in their examinations.

I am a Spanish native speaker from Cadiz, Andalusia, living and teaching in London for more than 5 years now. I started teaching Spanish as a private tutor and, since 2017, I work in a well-known and sucessful independent school in London, NLCS.
My experience in this school as well as my studies at University back me up to guarentee meaningful and well prepared Spanish lessons, focusing on the concrete specification that the student is doing at school, since I am familiar with all of them.
As the situation is not suitable for 1-2-1 lessons in person, I am ofering them online. My IT skills and experience teaching online in the summer term in my school allows me to say that I can offer the same quality of lessons that will help you to achieve your goals.

As a Head of the Languages Department and Primary and Secondary Teacher in a school in Leighton Buzzard for over 10 years, I believe I am the right language tutor for you!
I'm fluent in Spanish, ( my native language) French, and English and have spent many years teaching and studying languages. I completed a bachelor's degree in Spanish and English at Manchester/ALmeria University (2008) and studied Spanish and English Literature in school (GCSE and A-Level) so I know how daunting grammar can sometimes feel and how stressful language/literature exams can be... but also how great it feels when you finally start getting it!
On the language side of things, I can help you with your writing, listening, speaking, grammar, and exam technique. I can help you with conversational skills if you're just looking to go traveling or make Spanish/French friends.
On the literature side of things, a large part of my degree was literature-based, so I would be very happy to help any Literature students if you are struggling with the subject.
If you're in school and really want to get an A/A* (7/8/9), I can make sure you achieve your goal. Whatever your current grade, an A/ A*/7/8/9 is achievable. I have taught these exams for many years so I know how they work and how you can do well in them. We will work closely with the syllabus and go through some secrets of exam technique to make sure you get a top grade.
Alternatively, if you're wanting to learn languages for travel or business purposes (or just for fun!) we can tailor the lessons 100% to suit your needs. I also teach courses to adults from beginners to advanced and I always tailored to each student's need. I also teach English to foreigners to achieve the Cambridge Examinations ( A1 to C1).
I effectively deliver and plan online outstanding lessons and the feedback that I have received from parents, pupils, and adult learners have always been very stimulating. I strongly believe in the student centered-approach as always shown in my lesson plans. I believe that all students are individuals with very specific needs so differentiation has always been at the forefront of my teaching practice. I love online teaching as well as face to face. I have been doing online experience for the last 5 years and I have helped most of my students to achieve an excellent language level. I use Google Meets, Google Classroom, or even Skype for online teaching. I generally send and post great, fun, and genuine resources so that the student can access them easily and successfully. There are so many fun online resources that I could provide you to enhance your language skills, especially in Speaking; what a great way to speak the language with a native speaker! You will also gain a broad cultural awareness and your fluency and pronunciation will speed up!

On the other hand, I am a 200hr yoga certified instructor for the last 2 years and I can give you online 1-1 lessons from beginners to more advanced practitioners. I can also give the online yoga class via zoom to you and your whole family! If you have children, you will be glad to know that I have trained to teach kids yoga and I have been organizing yoga workshops in primary and secondary schools.
I am a final year History student at Bristol. I have lots of experience working in primary school as well as someone to one tuition. I am confident, enthusiastic and really enjoy teaching looking to become a teacher after I graduate.
I usually teach for around an hour typically to primary school age but I am looking to teach some older years as well. I like to keep the lesson interactive not focusing on the same exercise for too long. I find primary school-age children struggle to focus on the same thing for a long time. However, what I like about tutoring one-to-one or in small groups is that it gives you a lot of space to be flexible depending on who I am teaching.
I can teach many subjects at foundation level. I am a especialist in Spanish and Spanish literature as well as History. Currently teaching Spanish GCSE and Six Form IB. I have worked in referral units and many years teaching children with especial needs, my especiality is Autism.
Teaching has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I first started tutoring French and Spanish to the younger years when I was in my second year of Sixth Form college in the UK at the age of 16. My love for helping people to expand their knowledge and communication in a language only kept developing from that moment. I am Lizzie, from London, I am 22 years old and I have a BA Honors in Modern Languages, during which I completed a teaching module in my last year of university and I taught English abroad in France and Argentina in my third year. I have experience in teaching all ages, from 3 to 60! I am currently a part-time English teacher with the British Council in a university in Bogota, Colombia. Additionally, I have my own online teaching platform where I give weekly lessons in English, French and Spanish which I started during the pandemic. I only have positive feedback from my students and their parents and this success is reflected in their improving grades at school. I also work with people with special learning needs in my classes and adapt the classes as needed.
I always bring fun as well as productivity to my lessons, ensuring they are engaging and cater to the needs and preferences of each student. I am patient, enthusiastic and out-going, I believe there is no such thing as a silly question! My teaching methods include planning but adaptability, if a student on the spot says they want to work on something particular, I happily improvise and ensure they gain understanding on said topic. I like to maintain a balance of vocabulary and grammar, and mainly I focus on conversation and listening comprehension, as this is real life!
I am a very creative person, I love art, music and dance. I love to explore new cultures and travel too.
As I have just graduated last year, I have very fresh memory of how to learn languages effectively, this puts me in a position of empathy when teaching!
