I am a Leader for Science at a mixed school in Northamptonshire where I teach all three sciences at KS3 and GCSE, I also teach Physics at A-Level. I have a full DBS check, which can be made available upon request.
I have been teaching science for 8 years so I'm used to differentiating to meet the needs of the student and am well versed with the national curriculum. I am experienced with online and distance learning, having planned and delivered online science lessons to 250 students as part of our online provision during school closures.
I have three years of experience as a GCSE examiner so have regular training on what exam boards are looking to see in students' answers.
I'm supportive and reflective and will adapt to meet the needs of your child. The first lesson will be spent taking time to get to understand more about your targets, which exam board is being studied and how to support you best. From there I can devise a personalised program to ensure success.
I am a secondary school student who specialises in teaching younger children. I always ensure that they understand what I am saying and do my best to get them where they need to be. My approach to teaching is to inject the element of creativity and fun. It is imperative that we enjoy the things that we do, including education. I love creating an immersive learning experience which utilises extra-curricular tools to support cognitive, academic and holistic development. For me, as a certified life coach and educator, I believe in creating a safe space where each child can thrive and develop a sense of self-confidence whilst gaining a foundation of skills to support them both in school and out.
