Hi there.
I am a professional looking to help others learn, especially in subjects I'm interested in; Maths and Physics.
I'm South African and Irish but I have been living in the UK for over 10 years. I read a lot, mostly non-fiction but I enjoy novels too. I play guitar, for almost 20 years now and have been a part of bands and plays, playing various instruments.
If you have any queries or require more information, feel free to contact me.

Hi!
I’m Shreya G., a second year medical student in the UK. I enjoy learning just as much as teaching, and its a great learning opportunity for us both. Considering my medical background, I find teaching science and maths favourable. I also have a good understanding of the recent exam patterns and curriculum, as I have recently done it too.
I have taught multiple age groups in the past, and have had positive feedback that shaped me into the tutor today.
I believe that each student needs a different style of teaching, and thus base mine accordingly.
My previous students would describe me as a fun, energetic and engaging tutor, who relies on quizzes and mock tests to keep you engaged. Expect to be on your toes the entire time, and not just sit and listen. Alongside explaining, I like to formulate my own resources- like notes, whiteboards and flashcards- with tips and tricks learned from personal experiences that you won’t find in a textbook, free of cost
Though I believe a normal lesson lasts about 1-2 hours, this is totally dependable on the student themselves.
I look forward to teaching you and learning more about you, while making sure you have fun with my teaching and learn something new!

I am a friendly, highly experienced and innovative teacher who uses the latest approaches to promote student success. I have taught the sciences up to A Level for a number of years and have contributed to the design and implementation of both resources and curricula in my school's science department over these years. I currently teach biology, chemistry and physics to 11-16 year olds and also run a science, technology, engineering and mathematics club to engage and excite students.
Through regular attendance of training sessions I have developed my ability to design resources which effectively aid science teaching whilst simultaneously promoting literacy, mathematics and questioning during the delivery of science lessons. In particular, I use Bloom's taxonomy effectively in my resource design to deepen learning everyday. Alongside setting up a STEM club for secondary pupils, I have also set up an Urdu language club and teach Urdu language to 11 to 16 year olds
I use the latest questioning techniques and Kagan methods to allow students to draw conclusions and independently identify and expand on answers themselves. Promoting intellectual growth and a greater understanding of subjects is at the heart of my style of teaching
Tutoring is a great way to shape student understanding through intensive support which is carefully tailored to the individual learner. I have great experience in providing this individual and intensive support and I truly look forward to hearing from you to show how I can help you or your child to achieve the outcomes you desire.
